"Billing info received" means a shipping label was created. With most companies, this means the package will be sent out that day. However, it isn't a guarantee. The label could have been generated after the shipping company picked up outgoing packages or after the company rep made their last stop/drop-off at their local shipper.

Good luck

Ok, it still says billing info received, and when I called and talked to the CS she told me that it was going out today so i can get it tomorrow, but it still says billing info received, my question is, how late does ups pick up and scan the pkgs? could it be after 8pm or is it generally between 7-8pm? thanks for the replies in advance.

It all depends on the area. Even if the package is picked up at 7:00 p.m., it might not show up as "moving" on the system until hours later. UPS isn't the greatest on updating info and being correct with their updates. I wouldn't worry until much later tonight (much easier said than done)

Ok, has anyone ever received their package even though the ups tracking system was not updated. My package is stuck in PA and the people told me that it would come today and that sometimes pkgs that get scanned take a long long time to update in the system, she also told me that some pkgs never show movement in the ups tracking system but still get delivered, is she feeding me a bunch of bull or will i get my package today?

I remember once getting a UPS package that had never updated beyond Louisville, Kentucky (and I don't live anywhere close to that, I'm in the Northeast). I can't imagine getting a package that only showed "billing info received," but UPS sucks so much anything is possible.

lttlbit,
although I have nothing to base my opinion on--only a feeling--I think you will receive today. Good Luck and keep looking up!

Thanks for the replies, I called UPS 3 times just to see what each CS said and they all said the same thing and I also called the CS lady and she said the same thing, but the weird thing is this has never happened to me before, the UPS tracking system for me is always up to date from the originial scan to the out for the out for delivery scan, I like to call and do this checking before i get the pkg just to get a heads up before it never shows up, I sure do hope I get it today and I hope your "feeling" is correct, thanks. And it makes me feel better to know that you received a pkg that was in a place that was not even close to you. Thanks guys for making me feel a little better.

Well, I got my package, and the ups man did not know the reason why it was not scanned but I have it, although I am 30 short, so I called jets and told them and they already have the other 30 on the way free shipping and all, I did not yell at them but was actually nice and they were nice back and i even have a tracking number.

Has anyone tried to go down to their hub and pick up a package. You can't unless you call in first then they call the hub then the hub will try to find it. I stood on the phone for almost a hlf hour trying to get through so I could pick up my order. I was standing inside the hub at the time. Fedx is much better!

Yeah! I've had to pick up several packages from UPS before. They have been good experiences so far. I know to tell customer service that I want to request, Hold for Same Day pickup and they take my number and the hub calls to verify that I want to pickup the package and that they will give me a call back when the driver arrives with my package. All in all it takes about 2 hours from the time I call in until the time I pick up the package. Not bad especially when I don't want to wait all day for a package that I have no idea when it will arrive by driver.
