Just got back from reading some of those messages, and yes, I agree that DB is being portrayed in a bad light.....they forgot to mention a few things though, what about the 1000's of solicitations that are received in emails trying to push the stuff on everyone they can reach. It kind of reminds me of telemarketers, but for meds. I don't believe I have seen these kinds of solicitations coming from this site before.......

For all this negative attention to DB, there is no evidence that Mr. Haight (G_d rest his soul) frequented this board. Instead, he was a denizen (guru for that matter) on a recreational drug board that would make your skin crawl. It was all about making your own designer drug cocktails. I've quoted from that board here before and it's all about using your chemistry set to get high. The hydro or xanax part of the mix was like an olive in the cocktail that killed him.

That board should be getting the heat, like seriously. It has no legitimate value and I'm pretty tolerant about such things.

I hate to keep harping on the unfortunate young man, but his demise keeps getting thrown in our faces and it had hardly anything to do with OPs and it happened in 2001.

My sorrows are with his family, of course.

Tred,

On my post I ment "liberal" in the sence of allowing freedom to the kids NOT as a political statement. way too many kids now a days have too much freedom and parents are fearful to ask questions or check up because "they dont want to be snooping on their kids, they dont want to intrude, my kids may get mad at me" WELL BETTER MAD THAN DEAD!

anyhow just wanted to clear this up ..... also i am not republican.

Not sure how you get that there are more rich liberals than conservatives...but these parents gave their 17 year old unfettered access to the internet & a credit card & then failed to monitor his activities....while they are looking around for someone to blame, they need to find a mirror! Whether they were liberal or conservatives I don't know...but they were far to "liberal" with their son, that's for sure...childrend need our supervision, even at 17...and the LAST thing they need is a credit card without limits & checking what their buyering...the Hiagts have only have themselves to blame...not OP's, not conservatives or Liberals..JUST THEM...

It is simply non-sensical to blame sites like DB and OPs for these kinds of deaths. People should try not to become stupid when taking their meds. They should use these meds to their advantage, not abuse them to their detriment.
