I placed an order for Tramadol to alternate with my usual Norco .The price was right and would help my hydro last longer. After several days in pending status the UPS guy delivered the meds. I took 2 pills and almost immediately felt spacy ..very similar to how i feel when i take Fioricet
my face went numb and i felt as if i was swaying.Needless to say this was not the effect i was expecting.I knew then that they had not sent me the corect medication.these pills where large and had word DAN imprinted on it along with some numbers after doing an ID search come to find that insead of the Tramadol i had ordered they had sent me SOMA!!! It makes me realize how easy it is to mess up and possibly even cause harm to onself by takeing at face value that what you order is what they will send, thank god i wasnt driving when these pills took effect..so just a word of caution to check with a pill identifier before useing any meds that you arent familiar with..oh also any advice as to how to handle the situation because i really have no use for soma and feel cheated as well as bamboozeled!!!

Just wondering if you contacted skyrx and are they going to do anything about sending you the wrong meds?

Not as of yet, part of me says that the response is going to be something along the lines of prove it but i think i will be calling just to see what they are going to say about this matter, after all this can be viewed as an example of gross negligence on their part with possible legal ramifications had i gotten hurt as a result of their actions ..any suggestions fellow DBs?

i would report it to the asap for the simple fact what if you had a severe allergic reaction to it? i would let them know the description of the pills and let them know you will send them back to them...jmo..this has never happened to me but CVS had done that to my dad one time and he has heart problems and they had given him a med that if he took would of caused him to have a heart attact...i called them and cussed them out because they acted dumb when i picked the med up and they replaced it for him they even gave him a refund

What were the numbers imprinted on it? I only ask because my friend broke his neck in a surfing accident...and he always gets flexiril from his doc....I needed one from him on a few different occasions...and they had DAN printed on the front and some numbers on the back...but right now I can't remember what the numbers are. Im sure if you tell me I will remember however. Oh and last weekend I thought someone had taken my meds from my house...so I tried ordering from these guys and gooddeals...got rejected even though I told them I have records...and then 3 days later on tues (not including sunday) the UPS guys is at my house without me being there...Leaves a note saying from gooddeals $200 and some odd dollars. He'll probably be coming here again today...but I found my meds and Im sending those back...Not to mention the huge price difference between sky and good.

have you ever taken tramadol before.?probably not huh.?you been around here long enough judging by your posts. did you ever get the idea that maybe skyrx was maybe not on the up and up.? maybe a little on the fickle side.?if you answered no to any of the above questions then you probably shouldn't be ordering from online pharmacy's. esp. this one. now, i'm not defending their action's. that was bad. but your post is the exact reason why the government wants to shut down o.p' s..

To respond to your questions..first you Bigbiff because i feel the tone of your response is somewhat condecending.Yes i have taken Tramadol on many occasions not to mention as help on Hydro holidays and i really dont see what that has to do with anything..even if i was a first timer to the OP world the point was that they sent me the wrong meds something that has NEVER happened to me before. As for the reliability of SKYRX yes i did think they were on the up and up being that i got the site from this board,if i was going to get taken i would be more inclined to expect to get ripped off buying hydro from a no records OP not Tramadol which is sold on every OP site. My intent is not to give the government another BS excuse to crack down on OPs being that i DEPEND on NWW to help me with my pain and with out them id be in big trouble. My intention was to warn other ppl on this board to check before taking any med that doesnt look familiar to spare anyone from possibly taking something that may harm them......BTW the numbers where 5513 for that other posters question.....Peace

It never ceases to amaze me how people living in glass houses throw stones! She was simply trying to pass information on to others to check there meds before taking them when dealing with this OP, I don't think she deserved such a rude post. I am sure the goverment can read posts on ordering from various sites too and could possibly be a reason they wanna shut down op's.

Hey chill out dudes...I have had this happen at various brick and mortar pharmacies in the past. It's not peculiar to OP's. Pharmacies make mistakes all the time!
Just last week I had ambulatory surgery and on the way home, my father went into CVS to fill my Tylox rx while I sat in the car in the parking lot writhing in pain. He emerged with some vicodin, and though I hated to make my 83 year old dad go back in, I just was not in a vicodin kind of mood.
Bottom line is, after a few such experiences, I always double check the identity of the pill if it's a new med or otherwise looks unfamiliar.
The pharmacy (OP or brick and mortar) should be held accountable for their mistakes, but as consumers we need to protect ourselves as well. It's good advice to check a pill ID website or PDR whenever you receive a new med or the pills look different. Regardless of who filled the prescription.

Paygen999,
I have also had this happen to me before, and I have also learned to ID a pill from an OP or local Pharmacy before taking it, just to be sure, and as for the other persons response to your post, I wouldn't worry about them, that is what this board is for to "SHARE INFORMATION"!!!! Thanks for posting.

In a similar vein, I had a patient once who took the Diabeta (oral diabetes med) the pharmacist gave her when she was supposed to receive Darvocet. Unfortunately, after taking the Diabeta as she would have taken her Darvocet, she became so hypoglycemic she ended up with an anoxic brain injury and is now a vegetable (albeit a very wealthy one) in a very nice convalescent home. Check your meds!!! Your life could depend on it. By the way, she was only in her 40's when this happened.

Oh, that's so, so horrible. How unfair. Was this at a regular walk-in pharmacy that they made the mistake between the Darvocet and the diabetes medication? I cannot believe what horrible "luck" that is, and it makes me very sad for her. Doctors seem to automatically think "drug seeker" when a person recognizes pills or knows their medications, but this is the very reason a person should learn. It benefits a person to know about medications and be aware of sites like rxlist.com and drugs.com, etc, so you can double check and identify pills before taking them. I'm glad I saw your post, although it's a very unfortunate situation for the woman.

I've had mistakes twice. Not big ones but still...once at CVS I was prescribed percocet 7.5's and I brought them home without checking...CVS called me a little while later and told me they gave me the wrong med and to bring them back (lucky for them they gave me the 5's not the 10's or they wouldn't have seen me!) Then two weeks ago I filled another script for percocet 7.5's at stop and shop and they gave me the 5's too...I just kept them that time...but I wasn't happy!

I too am very sorry this happened! Anyone who recieves the wrong medication from a pharmacy; should not only call the pharmacist, but also the State Board of Pharmacies. Most chain pharmacies will not only fire the pharmacist, but the Board can and will revoke their license. You'll notice today that prescription bottles will generally have the description of the medication on the bottle or a pamphlet describing your medication. It's not only a safeguard for the consumer, but one for the pharmacist as well.
As for members using no record OP's; check your medication!
These paharmacies won't put a description of the medication on the bottle for you. If your unsure about the medication check rxlist.com, like the poster above said.
Take care and be careful!!

Got someone on the phone today. three times. 1st time: "Hello" - Me: "I am checking on an order", Them: "click"
2nd time: Them: "blah blah...this is ...pharmacy" Me: "Can I check on an order please?" Them: "Our system is down can you call back in an hour?" Me: "Will you answer the phone?" Them: "yes"
3rd time: "Hello....something something pharmacy" Me: "I'm checking on an order" them: "Order number please" Me: "####"
Them: "our system is down we cannot check on orders right now" Me: "When do you expect to be able to" Them: "tonight or tomorrow"
So. I do not know what to make of it. Either they are cleaning out the office to leave town and decided to answer the phone one more time or maybe they are getting things in order. AllUSA held on like this for a few days too and they are done.

I will say it again. If you want your meds (over 400 to choose from)when you expect them and for a good price. Then why go to these guys. Asanyone on the board that uses them and they will say the same thing. 123fastmeds is the best kept secret around (until now).
They offer everything with fast response to your order and a 24/7 customer call center that yes! actually answers the phone. You can place orders here just ask questions about your order or talk to a doctor about your meds.
No consult is needed and they ahve been around for a while.
Dont say I told you so...

I've used skyrx.com twice now...both for "pinch" purposes because of all the closings and both times (within 3 months time) they've come through for me with no problems.
Would place order, and receive order that usually took 3 days.
Maybe I've been a lucky one, but I'm glad. And although I HATE using them (for the many obvious reasons) at least I haven't got ripped off. It's awful to read the horrible experiences that are happening. And hopefully I won't ever have to use them again. My thoughts go out to those who are having a hard time.
Old...I checked out 123fastmeds and the site seems great. But, the strongest pain meds are vic es...yes it's a good med, but a big number of sufferers are used to more of the norco's...which isn't offered. None the less, it does seem like a REALLY GOOD site. Thank you for sharing.

"123fastmeds is the best kept secret around (until now)."
Like I posted in another thread, 123fastmeds doesnt have secure checkouts. If you are comfortable with entering credit card info on a site without any security measures, feel free.

I've had brown come by my house 2 days in a row. After reading all this I don't think I want to receive the item. BTW my order was placed 13 days ago - first attempt to deliver was made 6/15. Someone did try to contact me 2 or 3 times but my friend answered the phone, she said he sounded 'foreign' but was from the pharmacy. So they are trying to deliver that much is certain. Makes me nervous with all the rhetoric I read here.

I placed an order with Skyrx on June 6. Received exactly what I ordered, and the exact amount on June 16. Although it was supposed to be 2nd day mail, I got what I ordered. I had no problems. Hopefully, if there is a next time, it will go as smoothly as it did this time.
