does anyone know if this med is taken every 4-6 or every 6-8 hours? thanks for any info.

The dose is usually 10mg three times a day. I'd try for every 8 hours. The maximum dose is 60mg per day for 2-3 weeks.
This is a medication you do not want to exceed the max dose on, at least I would not.
It is related to the tricyclic antidepressants. It may cause drowsiness, so I could see where you may not want to take it first thing in the morning.

It's prescribed to me and the label reads: Take 1 tablet 3 times daily (may cause drowsiness)

My doc writes for Flexeril for me and my dosage is 2 tabs as needed not to exceed 6 tabs per day.

It quit working for me, though, after about a week or two max.

I only rarely use it anymore.

thank you all for the responses..my doc gave me some samples and i think i wasnt paying attention when he told me how to take it or either he didnt tell me...thanks again
