I know this is going to be a strange question but people on here seem to have a wealth of information so here it goes...A neighbor of mine is looking for a place to buy clavamox..antibiotic for his dog online without a prescription. He is out of work and can't afford a vet bill right now. Anyone know of a place to buy pet meds without a script? Thanks!
Many of the veterinary drugs for dogs and cats are the same as drugs for humans. The human drug equivalents can be ordered from IOPs. I got tired of paying $40+ to bring a previous cat to the vet every time he got in a fight and developed an abscess. If you get the pediatric suspension of amxocillin from a place like Masters, one 7500-mg bottle of the powder is ten courses of antibiotics for about $7 plus shipping. Save one of the plastic bottles with the graduated dropper that the vet sells and weigh out and divide the pediatric powder and store it in little zip-locs in the freezer. It's the exact same stuff. Give the same doses that the vet was using. Do a Google on how to lance a boil. The hardest part is often shaving the hair of a cat or dog near the boil if you want to drain it. You can get a spray bottle of lidocaine local anesthetic OTC that will make it easier on both of you.

The animal "Clavamox" medicine is called "Augmentin" for humans.
Try typing in augmentin on your search engine, and see if u can find an online pharmacy . U will have a better chance this way.
I believe u will have a difficult time trying to find the clavamox brand name for animals on the internet WITHOUT a prescription from the vet.
I am sure I don't have to tell u , but I will anyway, you will need to make sure proper dosaging is adjusted , so that the dog gets the correct amount. Hopefully, your friend can remember the previous dosage the vet prescribed.
I am going on the assumption that clavamox was previously prescribed by a vet for this animal.
It is far superior to many other antibiotics, for treatment of skin infections, among other things in dogs.
I wouldn't advise your friend switching the type of antibiotic, if clavamox is known to work for this pet, for whatever condition ails him.
