Huge trouble logging in. . .
      #157902 - 04/27/04 04:04 PM

Hi

I use Internet Exlorer and Mozilla Firebox browsers, or I did.At first I could not log on to drugbuyers.com with IE,so I downloaded Mozilla Firebox. Then after a few times I got the same trouble with Firebox.. so I just downloaded Netscape(which is how I am able to login and Post this)
When I enter the site, and click login.. bare with me this is hard to explain. .there is simply not a place to enter my username and password. It seems as if the site still knows my username, but maybe it's been some time since I entered a password and that's what it wants. .If I went to IE right now and clicked login, a page would come up with my username(which is displayed at the top of the page, but apparently I am not logged in) a place to check PM's and mark favorite threads et cetera, but up at the top is says "Login" , when I click on it I am rerouthed to the same page, with my username at the top, but NOT logged in. .when I try to enter any of the boards you must be logged in to enter, I am redirected back to the same page with no login box- prompted to login. I am pretty Windows-savy but this has me boggled, it's hard even to explain.

The only way I have found to remedy this is to either download ANOTHER browser , which is a pain, or go to the local library, a place I would rather not be seen surfing DB( not because of legality, nothing illegal goes in here, it's just the name, and I live in a very small town )

Any help you can offer is appreciated.

In the event I cannot log in later on,please mail me at:
I have to get this problem solved. . .

I've had trouble at this site and this site only posting and sending PM's. I emailed the head people here and I'll probably get a reply soon and maybe you should try that too and see what they say.
About 75% os the time I try to send PM's or post, the entire web page closes down as if I had clicked on the X box to close the window. I have been careful to make sure I'm not clicking on anything wrong. I go many places on the web and this is the only site this has happened to me. I know it sounds silly but it's almost as if something doesn't want me here because the whole web page just shuts itself down and I get so mad!!! Hopefully an email may help you figure it out! Good luck!

Try deleting your cookies or setting your firewall properly. Looks like your cookies are corrupted or that you have too much security...

Same thing happened to me, I deleted the cookies and logged back in and everything was fine. The cookies will reset when you log back onto the board. EMJ
