Does anyone know of any IOP's or OP's that sell this either in brand or generic at a reasonable price? My brother has cluster headaches due to MS and his leisons on his brain and he is on state insurance and they will not cover it...any help would be great!! thank you!

I would do a search on 'Stadol' or 'Stadol NS' for older posts and check out some of those sites. It's just too expensive to get online for me, and besides I now have a doc that gives me mine. If he can find a doc to give him some, Costco has it really cheap for generic, like 32.00.
good luck.
ps. I've heard that nubain is comparable to stadol, but never tried it. A pcp did offer to give it to me once, but I would've had to pay my past balance that insurance was supposed to pay, so that wasn't worth it.

No Costco here in TN it would be great if we did and on the nubain i dont think he would use it because you have to inject it and him and needles do not mix at all...thank you for the info also last time he paid for the stadol and it was like 120.00 maybe a little less but it was alot of $$

Well, all I can say, is keep calling around to find a cheaper price. Sam's is supposed to be pretty cheap, but when I called, they were higher than Eckerd's!! Can ya believe that??
I don't particularly like needles either. I get lidocaine shots to my temples during bad migraines that isn't exactly fun, especially now that I have scar tissue there. But, if it's bad enough, I go get them. I also have gotten numerous phenergan shots. Those burn! But, the outcome is worth it. If he can get the nubain, he may have to just make up his mind to give himself the shot. If I could get phenergan (and demerol) in a shot, believe me, I'd save lots of time and $$$ by not going to the ER. One time I waited 4 hours for a shot of phenergan, not even any demerol. And, demerol only kicks it down to a 4 or 5, but it's some relief.
Tell him I wish him good luck in his quest.

NWW offers it for $275.00 for 3 bottles w/o consult.
online-scripts I think offers it too, but i have no idea if they are any good or what their prices are. go to the website if you like, but I'd go with NWW.
My fiance received it from them (NWW)and was pleased with the results, except they mistakely offered her Lortab and the Stadol NS, and it became a hassle, and they would not fill the Stadol NS and Lortab at the same time, except they did do it once, and then gave her free overnight shipping after because of the mess up. She chose the Lortab ove the Stadol for $$ sake....

So NWW does not require a consult to order Stadol? If that is the case I will give my brother their # to call and request the medication because that is very cheap for 3 bottles. I recieve my meds from NWW and they are good...so no consult would work great for him because all his meds plus his steriods for his MS are very expensive and this would be a great route to go. i just thought that in order to order from NWW you had to do a consult with them??

Southwestern Medical Group's phrmacy (CMC) offers generic sdadol NS at $77 each (or $231 for 3). You have to consult (may special is $80) and send records - but with MS that shoouldn't be a problem.
Too bod he is afraid/doesn't like needles (me too - why sit there when they come at you with a sharp ponty thing and you KNOW they are going to stick you with it!).
Because MexRx onlione offers 2mg stadol injectable (10 doses in 10 ml) for $35.
I used to have a subcutaneaus injector for imprimex (migranes - back before the tablets worked); just a plastic device you load with a syring (they are glass and can be reused) and then put on you leg/arm/stomach and push a button. it only penetrates 2-3 mm so no muscle pain on inj. AND even more critical - it hides the needle - I CANNOT use needles and I COULD use this; sounds like an air gun going off.
and it would save about 1/2 on the lowestr price I know for STADOL.
Another option is SUBUTEX SUBLINGUAL(temesic - buprenorphine) IV IM 2-3 mg = 10mgmorph =.2 stadol. about 8MG sublingual will = 10MG Morph IV/IM. It is lke nitroglicerine, dissolves in mouth. Only makes you sleepy forthe first 3-5 days
