I just received what I was under the impression was 5mg Valium from an international undertaking. What came was orange scored tablets with what looks like a cup of soup or coffee, with spoon, as the imprint on the other side. The other side is scored with no other imprint. Anyone familiar. Thanks folks! Trying to be safe! Thanks a bunch!

That sound familiar I think the "cup of coffee or soup w/ a spoon" is probably a mortar and pestal. Sound consistant with the coloring though. Do a search on google for pill identification you'll get some helpful results........... I guess you can always call the poison control center and say you found some pills in your kids room and want to know what kind of drugs he's taking. That will work too!

It might be an international form of Mylan generic 5mg. diazepam...also orange.
You can find out through the Links on the Board (above, under Entrance). Click on and it will be clear there's two sites listed for identifying pills. You can find out without leaving the comfort of home

Well, the imprint is the same as that of "Azor" brand South African generic alprazolam tablets. My sheet didn't list that color, though, so I would guess that they're from the same company, and that they use the same imprint but different colors for their alprazolam and diazepam.

Orange with Mortor and Pestal. These are 5mg. Diazapam by lilly or Lemmon (forget). They are called "PAX".

Philip3 is close.
It is Pax 5mg... generic diazepam.
I used to get these from Access Meds.
They are manufactured by Aspen Pharmacare...
South Africa's largest manufacturer of generic medicines.
The firm is very profitable.
You can buy the stock on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange...
Or just take the pill and relax.
The drug description pamphlet from Aspen says...
"5 mg Pale orange bisected tabs engraved
with Lennon logo (mortar and pestle)."
In general...
South African generics are of excellent quality.
Most of the labs were US subsidiaries...
Before they were nationalized 10 years ago.

I also had a question on some mystery valium...
I ordered some diazepam online from an international pharmacy. The pills I received are little blue pills with a line across the middle on one side. Other than that there are no identifying characteristics. The package says "Diazepam 10 mg. L.CH. Laboratorio Chile S.A."
and thats it...
I know 10mg valium is usually blue...but other than that I don't know if my pill is valid. I looked at the pill ID'ing sections and whatnot...didn't see anything to help me.
Any advice or suggestions?

Yup thats exactly what I received right there...thanks for the link.
I went ahead and tried them out, and overall I think they were good. They were definitely at least comparable to any of the generic diazepam that I've gotten here in the U.S. Nonetheless...and I'm not sure if its just psychologic or if there is an actual strength difference... but I prefer to find the name-brand Roche's when I can.
