I took it for about a month. ran out for about a week, during which I ws tapering anyway, so I didn't use it for at least a week.
I started using is again Tuesday.
I noticed Wednesday and Thursday bad stomache pain. RIght in the middle of my stomach, upper part, under the ribs.
It's a very strong and bothersome pressure pain.
Does anyone have any info on whether this can be related to the NAC???
Did you switch NAC brands, by any chance? The only real side effect of NAC is stomach upset in some people- that's generally just in high doses and moderate, but a friend of mine got heartburn the first time she used it.
My guess is it's entirely unrelated, might want to give it some more time.
Yes I experienced that too. I thought it was my liver!. I stopped the NAC and that pain went slowly away after a week. BUT.... my experience with it may be different than yours, so you might want to check with a doc if it continues.
Tred =)
ps.. I also quit taking so much tylenol too. I think the combo of both is what was causing the pain.
