We all need to get out more. Lets pick a spot, whatever State. One with a hotel conference room and meet in person. We'd probably have to wear little name badges, but I think it would be fun and wonderful. If we found the right spot, since we are a legitmate organization, we should get a group rate. The thought of the day is actually get out and meet your friends and neighbors. National Drugbuyers of America unite and meet? It sounds good, but what are the possiblites of it happening? Of course we'd have live press coverage!

take a look at the thread for "Party, Conference, Get-Together" here in the suggestion area. I started this thread a while back to get those who were interested in meeting one another. Some said yes, some said no. You and I are not too far from each other because I live in Illinois. Anyway, its something I am hoping to put together this summer...take a look at the thread!!

I just saw the thread and it looks like you put alot of effort into it. We need to choose an inexpensive spot. Somewhere in Florida seems logical. Vagas would be fun too. I'm not worried about LE being there because we're not all going to pull out our bag of weed, zig-zags and start rolling.
I see you have a travel agent on it and are planning a long week-end getaway. That sounds perfect...Once we agree on where, it will work out great. We just need a hotel, and should be getting some price quotes. We'd have to try and keep expenses down obviously. I'm going to do some research and see what I come up with. J~

How about Jamaica Man...Negril is the spot and can be done cheap without a passport.
Plus it is FaNASTIC there!

We just got back, and you can do it for about $700 for the plane and anywhere from $50 to 200 a day for a room depending on what you want.
I HIGHLY suggest a non-all inclusive place and party it up with the locals
We did, and had so much fun!!

hello,
even though the get-away vacation sounds awesome...it just isn't financially realistic for some of us. I started with the BIG DEAL about the whole event and then figured (for me anyway) that a big picnic,cookout-outing would be just as good. Maybe a camp site, or even just a big beach-park like place. I would love to do a hotel and all the works, but first off I really can't afford it, and I doubt that I could really get away to meet up with a bunch of strangers without my kids and husband worrying about me.
Anyway, I am still doing some searching/planning as to where would be a good place. It would be so much easier to just make it a one-day outing...families could attend as well as us groupies for that matter. It really all just depends. I am still planning on sending PM's to those who are closest to my area once I've got things somewhat worked out. I, also, am not worried about LE.
