It does say we most likely got our avatar's at the same site!

Mine must mean I'm not very consistant, because I live to get up and change mine every morning, but then again, at least I'm consistant about that.

turcica, I didn't make it. I spent hours looking for something odd, but this one was the first one that worked. The others were too large or the wrong file type. I have no idea what it means, but its definitely different.

Jordan, I love your St.Paddys days avatar. I've been looking for a good one for our next holiday but haven't found the right one yet. As for changing them its alot cheaper than shoes. LOL. That is if you are like most women and have more than we need. turcica

The avatars give everyone a unique kind of personality.
It kinda helps you to know little about the type of person you are talking to.

I always try to find the unique avatars. Guess I'm weird.

Thanks Turcica! I think I definitely need a life because my whole mission lately has been finding holiday gifs.
Now, shoes, don't even get me started on shoes. My SO often asks why I need 500 pairs of shoes when I constantly go barefoot.
But okay, back to the holiday avatars. I'm stumped for the month of June. I need suggestions!! All I can think of are brides (since June is such a big wedding month) or Father's Day. I'm really excited about Easter though. LMAO

Let's see June - Flag Day is in June, as well as Father's Day, and oh - it's the Humane Society's National Adopt A Cat Month!!!! Now there is a special occasion!!

Jordan - that's a great avatar!!

I like the little piggy eating cake too and Henry - that has to be the most unusual avatar I've seen - what on earth is it? Church in an earthquake??

Turcica,
Now look what you've done You not only motivated members without avatars for their entire memberships, but have enlisted the avatar queens as consultants - of course, that being Jordan and Sky Queen
They merit the best-dressed and holiday spirit awards
You have also made this into a fun thread which isn't even off-topic since it is clearly related to identity and self-esteem.
The next step will be ordering customized photo avatars from Rxter

Well, I've been looking all day for a St. Patty's day avatar and here's what I decided on. Its like getting dressed to go out, you never have anything to wear, LOL, nothing fits right. LOL. Jordan helped me shop and sent some over but they did'nt fit me. LOL Thanks anyway Jordan and you know "its a womens perogative to change her mind" so I might try one of the ones you sent me later. In any case I'm glad everyone is picking up on the idea cause its a way to self-express. Also, as we know with pain anything to keep our minds on something else helps ease it some. Thanks for the post anna. turcica these guys helped me pick it out!

I chose my avatar due to an old saying in the country of my birth, Australia. The saying is: When pigs fly. Basically meaning something isn't going to happen until pigs grow wings. That is why I chose taht particular avatar. I've also got flying pigs on my checks as well. It appears to be my personal symbol.

Well, thank you Turcica!! I try to change it everyday just like my clothes. LOL But ,who knows, one day I might find the perfect one for me and just have to stick with that one. But, for now, I do love 'dressing' for the holidays.

I am protesting the deletion of the Dr. Pepper thread on the meds board with my Avatar!

I posted some medical information on the caffeine content of different sodas. Further I provided a detailed post summarizing the details of last month's double-blind study conducted at U of M on the potentiation effects of Dr. Pepper on hydrocodone/apap consumption showing a direct and statistically relevant correlation to the .1% confidence interval between Dr. Pepper consumption and hydrocodone efficacy.

Be a Pepper.

I can't believe they deleted the Dr. Pepper thread. It was so amusing and I think we can all agree that some times a little laughter can be the best medicine. (Well, maybe not the BEST medicine).
Anyway....like my new avatar? I looked outside today and even though it snowed last week, I saw several new flowers popping up in my garden today. For me, just a gentle reminder that things always change....dark, cold and even painful winter can turn into a lively spring and hopefully, so can we! So I thought the daisy was quite appropriate. Wishing everyone a pain-free evening!
Hanging in there,
Joyous

I have to say, one of my favorite avatars is Psylin's (on the VIP side). It's Stewie from the Family Guy. Whenever I read one of his posts, I totally hear it my head as Stewie talking. Consequently, things that he writes in total seriousness often have me lauging. It's pretty funny.
