The Pain Relief Network http://www.painreliefnetwork.org/default.asp?mnu=1&id=1&ACT=5&content=13 is good, too. Either one.
Some people are a bit hesitant to donate to API because of the web design, Rev. Myers' other agendas (the Juneteenth thing), and a few other things- so I thought I'd offer an alternative. This way money can still go to the cause.

Just to clarify things here, Juneteenth and The March on Pain are two very seperate issues for those that are un-aware of what Juneteeth is here is a bit of history behind this Holiday:
History of Juneteenth
Juneteenth (19/June/1865)
June 19th is an unofficial holiday observed by thousands of African Americans, primarily in some southern states. The holiday originated in Texas during the Civil War period, when news of the Emancipation Proclamation signed by President Abraham Lincoln in September 1862, to become effective on January 1, 1863, did not reach Texas slaves until June 1865. The slaves immediately left the plantations, congregated in the cities and began celebrating their freedom by praying, feasting, dancing, and singing.
Juneteenth originated in Texas and has now become a state holiday there as well as in Iowa, Idaho, California, Wyoming, and several other states. As Texans of African American descent have migrated across the United States and settled elsewhere, they have taken the observance of Juneteenth with them. More and more descendents of slaves in other states are joining in the celebration and seeking in some instances to make the holiday a legal one in their respective states. Observances are held to amore or lesser degree in Louisiana, the Carolinas, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, California and Illinois. Naturally barbeque, prepared Texas style, dominates the feasting. The festivities start at dawn when pits are fired up for the barbecuing and the heavy aroma of chili cooking fills the air. The celebrating usually continues until the wee hours of the next morning. Juneteenth is a Mardi Gras without costumes.
Why such a celebration would bother anyone is beyond me, maybe you just were not aware of what this holiday was about.

For the record, I am not against Rev. Myers, African-Americans, nor Juneteenth. Siobhan Reynolds did not pay me to write this post either
I was just offering another way to contribute to cause of chronic pain sufferers, I know that some people will refuse to donate to API, and they have their own reasons for that. By posting the link to PRN, now we will not lose any money directed at the cause of chronic pain sufferers that might've been lost otherwise.
Btw, just because someone doesn't support API, doesn't make them a racist. I don't want anyone to feel that way. I'm not going to list the reasons for not liking API here because I don't want to take money away from them, but I will say that they need a better webpage because their current one is horrible and instills no confidence in people who didn't already have it.
The bottom line is that the money goes to supporting the cause of chronic pain sufferers- that is all that is important. They are both excellent organizations.

Yawkaw that was not my intent either, and I also support the PRN, I just wanted to make sure that everyone was aware of what Juneteenth was. As I also applaud your efforts on this movement. Just wanted to clarify is all.
