can anyone tell me the best way to finding the best possible dentist in the USA?
I am in terrible pain, and my current dentist
a) doesn't treat pain
b) caused my current pain, I think.
My wife had terrible pains two years ago after receiving root canal surgery from this dentist, and now I am in pain, following the same procedure, something I forgot to mention.
So I am searching the Internet. Just wanted to know if anyone here knows of a Web site or an organization that can help me find a good dentist. I feel it's somewhat of a minefield, since there are so many dentists, and people sometimes have strong opinions about them.
What I mean is, a friend of mine used to warm me all dentists do too much unnecessary work and keep you coming back. I am experiencing the repeat visits, each time with more pain and less meds!!
And I am NOT a recreational drug user or a seeker, I am genuinely in search of the best help, even if it means knocking some of the offending teeth out
Thanks again for reading my inane drivel (literally - the pain is making me drool )
Under the Links section above (with Main Index, etc.), there are some excellent resources.
Dental services are listed in the "Other" category as "Donated Dental Services."
The fee is based on ability to pay . Perhaps, you could be referred to a pain sensitive dentist.
If you have insurance, it is common for dentists who treat children, too, to be kinder about anesthetics and patient preferences.
Hope this helps.
