Ask and it will be given to you Matthew 7:7
when you get to 10 mg of oxy per day and stay there for a while, you can then switch to the hydro, but if you go all the way down to 5 mg of oxy perday before you make the switch, the 10MG hydro might work better.
if i were in this situation and assumeing i wasnt going to just quit pain pills completely instead, i would:
1. get to 5 MG of oxycodone per day
2. when I get to 5MG, I start counting the days. After 7 - 10 days of taking 5mg oxycodone quit oxy cold turkey
3. when the withdrawl from oxycodone is no longer bareble or when 48 hours has past, start the hydro 10/500

10 mg of oxycodone might be a little more powerful than 10 mg of hydrocodone, whereas 10 mg of hydrocodone is for sure stonger than 5mg of oxycodone.

Are you saying you are now scripted 40 of the hydro 10/500's per month? Which would be roughly only 1.3 pills per day (approximately 13 mgs of hydro per day)...
Assuming that the above is correct and also factoring in the oxy dose of 15mgs per day you are currently on, I would not expect much, if any, withdrawal symptoms as you are taking just slightly less.
I would think you'd be more likely to experience less pain relief with the hydro than you would withdrawal symptoms.
Good luck on the change-over.
