They are generics made by Vintage Pharmaceuticals.

rx8-
i tried searching on an "imprint code" database, and had no luck seeing anything even close to norco or even hydro related products, a couple of anti-depressants, anxiety meds and what looked like some antihistamines...i'm no pharmacist, but i would say you probably don't have a 10/325...of course the only generic norco brand i've ever seen is the watsons and i could be wrong...someone please let me know if i am, and i do apologize if i am.

This is appalling.
Quote:
FDA investigators inspected the Vintage facilities in Charlotte, N.C. and Huntsville, Ala. nine times in the last two years. Although the firm's regulatory compliance showed some improvement, the inspections found in both facilities violations of good manufacturing practice including failure to adequately investigate substandard products, inadequate laboratory controls and stability testing, and a deficient environmental control system.
FDA sent the firm warning letters and held several meetings with Vintage management. Vintage responded by promising to remedy the deficiencies, but most of them were corrected only after FDA initiated an injunction action in July. Following FDA's inspectional findings, Vintage has also conducted almost a dozen product recalls in the past year.
Anyway, she probably just knew it from having a knowledge of common generics. Ables, Vintage, Watson, Mallinckrodt, Brands- you get to memorizing what they look like and the imprint codes when you see/read about them every day.

Here is a monograph of the 750/7.5 APAP/Hydro generic by Vintage...I have not ever found a monograph of the 3601, but I did look this info up for another DB member not too long ago on the 3601 and it IS the 325/10 APAP/Hydro generic.

Vintage is also known as Qualitest. Qualitest's phone number is 256-859-4011 if you want to call for a "from the horse's mouth ID.

I have found that the best hydro is comes from either brand Vicoden and Watson. I prefer to pay a bit extra for the quality I know is consistant.

Curiously, and this may be a stupid question, but do OP's offer brand name?

Yes, OPs do offer the brand name meds, generally at a higher price.

You may not have Norco in your hands.... Is the pill larger, like a 7.5/750 vicoden? Is it a pale yellow or is it bright yellow? The reason why I am asking is because one of my friends had something that sounded very similar to what you are describing (the pills he had were a brighter yellow, larger in size like a 7.5/750 tab, had a V on one side and I am pretty sure the 36/01 on the other) and it was not vicoden at all--- it was a prescription for a particular cold medicine. I could be wrong, but I would hate for you to take something if you are not sure what it is! Hope this helped.

Based on the color and imprint codes, it definitely IS generic hydrocodone. I have no problem putting my money where my mouth is on this one.
Besides, didn't the original poster indicate these had come from an OP as a generic equivalent to Norco? It has been established time and time again that OPs don't send vitamins or placebos or fakes in place of the "real deal." Even if you choose not to believe that my ID is correct, think about the reality of the situation--it came from an OP as a generic.
Looks like, smells like, tastes like...IS.

One most understand the difference between generic and brand, obviously, one whom buys brand can be guaranteed it to be hydrocodone without generic fillers which can interrupt with absorbtion and and pain receptor response. There is no such thing is brand "watson" it is GENERIC company that manufactures it. Brand is Brand. Reynolds wrap is Reynolds wrap. If you buy generic you get generic.

Hydrocodone is hydrocodone. The topic of discussion is the medications response to the pain receptors. If your pain receptors are downgraded, no matter how much brand or generic you take, your tolerence has reached a maximum.

To all whom may be concerned, forget the generics, I dont care what physiopharmicology states in the PDR . In the long run, you can absolutely compare it with antibiotics. Personally, I would rather take brand Zithromax then generic. All the studies have been done on the brand meds. Get the drift?

I finally found my monograph of the V3601...
Again, it IS the 10/325 hydro generic made by Vintage/Qualitest.

wow thanks alot guys! i think i was just too sick and in too much pain for them to work, perhaps the fillers are harder for me to break down, i ended up throwing them up almost whole a good 3-4 hours after i took them, wish they were watsons, but definitly not willing to pay for a brand name.
