Can the two be taken together does anyone know? (Taken a few hours apart). Need ambien (5mg usually occasionally 10mg) or zopliclone (?) to sleep most nights but I've just been prescribed Cipralex (10mg) short term and I wondered if it was ok for both?

Cos I'm going through the menopause and suffering REALLY severe mood swings. Waiting to go in to have a HRT coil fitted but the NHS being what it is, it could be 6 months. in the meantime, we're trying Cipralex to see if it makes a difference then when the coil is fitted, taper it off.

I always like to check interactions between medications when I get a new drug or need to take an OTC drug. Drug Digest has a tool on their website called "Drug Interactions Checker" (or something like that), and you just pick the medications you take from a list and press the button. It tells you if there are interactions between the meds, the severity of those interactions, and also their interactions with food and alcohol. Its a neat little thing and a good way to make sure whether your meds are safe together.

Great tip about Drug Digest Medication Interaction Checker mpcagh.
I found a dangerous combo in the meds I currently take! And I can only assume that those of you on lots of meds probably don't know if they SHOULD be taken together.
Thanks!
