Hey everyone,
I was just wondering if anyones knows what happened to all the recent post section that was on the entrance page? I miss that and it was there just a week ago. Did they make changes or is it coming back?

DB has been undergoing some restructering, trying to cater to member suggestions and such.
I, too, miss the recent post section, which was one of the top choices for me to visit, but now I simply go to the link for recent posts within the past 24 hours, located at the top of the page, and read the most recent topics discussed that way. I can take it either way.
If you really want that section to return, might I suggest that you write DB and tell them that you'd like to see it back? It couldn't hurt.

I think you mean the "Current Threads" box, which used to list the 10 most recently started threads. I love that box, that's always what I look at first, before poking around in the index etc.
There is and recently has been a "Recent Posts: link at the top of every page, with choices of posts from the last 24 hours, 48 Hours or the last 7 days. This has certainly not disappeared lately.
The "Current Threads" box disappeared once about six months ago when Admin was rearranging the entrance page. As soon as someone pointed out that it was gone he put it right back, said it was deleted by mistake. This time around who knows if we'll get it back. There is still a current threads box over on VIP, which contains only 5 threads for some reason, and is therefore not as useful as ours was.
I notified DB as soon as I saw it was missing. If you want it back you should all do the same! Tell them we love the Current Threads box!
