Hi everyone,
I really need some help from anyone who could help me! I placed an order with MexRxOnline on March 8th. The UPS man came today while I was at work with my order. My husband wasn't expecting a package to come for me so he refused the package!! (I am not open with my OP use...I have generalized anxiety disorder, which my husband considers a weakness...but that is a whole other story) I called UPS and they return the package to sender if it is refused. I was told if I could provide a tracking number tonight I could possibly avoid having the package resent to mexrxonline. MexRxOnline is terrible about responding to emails and I have asked for the tracking number on my order, but doubt they will respond in time. Has anyone out there had anything similar happen to them? Does anyone know any other way I could get in touch with MexRXonline? Most importantly if the order is sent back to mexrx, does anyone know if they will resend? Any help would be very much appreciated! Please help!

I would call your local ups hub because thats where the driver will bring it back to tonight, and explain what happened and if they can't reschedule delivery, see if you can pick it up at the hub. Just tell them that you don't have a tracking # but give them your name & addy and the shippers name. Maybe you can track at the ups site useing the track by REFERENCE. Try useing the 1st initial of your last name (in caps) plus your zip code, if that don't work try your full last name (in caps) and your zip. But if you supply them with your name & addy and explain that they never sent you a tracking #, there is no reason for them not to hold the package for you. Anglwink

Mexrx uses different shipping names. Just say a letter from CA. Go to the hub station at 5:00, today! They will be able to find your package. You have to get it before it is returned(tomorrow). Bring ID with you.

I always thought UPS makes like 2 or 3 attempts to deliver something, so maybe they will try again tomorrow or monday or even tomorrow, but i would call the ups people and also the op, but the UPS first that way if they do not make another attempt to deliver it then you could pick it up before it goes back. Let us know what happenes.

You are all the BEST! I made some phone calls and got the number for the UPS hub. The lady there said she would hold my package for me to pick up tonight! Thank you all so much! I was so worried that my order would be sent back to mexrx, and with the lack of communication I was afraid I would never see my order. But I have to give credit to MexRXOnline! As long as my order is right, they got it to me within THREE DAYS OF RECEIVING PAYMENT! And this is using regular shipping! I will update you all on the status of my order...but so far I am impressed. Again, I can't thank you all enough.

Please DO let us know that you were able to get your package. This is good information for people to know who do use UPS. I also thought that UPS would try delivery 3 times before sending back, but then I don't think that would include an outright refusal on the first try. Anyway, I'm glad you posted and keep us updated.

UPS will re-attempt delivery for 3 days if nobody is home or if you have too get the cod amount (tracking will say NO FUNDS), but if someone refuses delivery, it will be sent back to the shipper right away. Well, I am glad that everything worked out for you...enjoy your weekend everyone. Anglwink

I believe Fedex has the same policy at least as it goes regarding attempted delivery for 3 consecutive days - would assume a "refused delivery" to result in immediate return, but cannot confirm this. Just in case anyone wondered/didn't know what happened when/if they missed the Fedex delivery.....

Hey everyone! Well here is my final update! Picked up my package....everything there as stated in blister packs! Get this... Ordered 3/5, sent money order 3/6 (priority mail with delivery confirmation), they received payment 3/8, got my order today 3/11! Kudos to MEXRXONLINE...received within 3 days of them receiving payment! Can't get much better than that! And tomorrow's my birthday! Nice to know it will be anxiety free! Thanks to all of you and I hope you all have a great weekend!

Just wanted to add that, I too am happy for you in that you had a positive outcome to what could have resulted in not only just an inconvienence for you, but a miserable BIRTHDAY weekend as well. I, along with many other DB members(I'm sure), know how frustrating it can be when you experience a problem, such as this, where by you are counting/depending on any needed medication that may not be available as expected. Anyway, I hope you have a HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
Take care. PEACE to you and ALL

Wow. This situation/policy (if it is indeed UPS/FedEx policy) doesn't seem right to me. If a package is addressed to a specific adult individual at an address and a different resident refuses it, the package gets returned with no subsequent delivery attempts to the actual addressee? I'd think that only the specific addressee could outright refuse the delivery...if a different person refuses it the courier should make the normal number if delivery attempts before the package is returned.
Such a "policy" could create alot of problems in households. If a husband (or sister, aunt, roommate, etc.) decides the addressee of a package from Victoria's Secret has too much lingerie already, should s/he have the right to in effect return it against the addressee's will? Or if a wife thinks her husband doesn't really NEED those DVDs he ordered she can just tell the courier to send them back?
I'm the only adult in my household so the question is moot for me but I believe the regular delivery attempt policy should be followed. Even if the "delivery attempt" notices are hidden from the addressee, most people know when a package is due for delivery & can call the hub or check online tracking to determine if another household member has been refusing packages & can arrange to pick them up before they're returned.
I didn't sleep at all last night but does this make sense to anyone else?
