I don't know about all of you, but I read everyone's signatures.
I often wonder which ones people like the most and why.
My signatures are always Shakespeare because the literary interpetation groups I belong to are currently doing the works of Shakespeare. Besides, there are some great one-liners in his work--especially considering it was written in Elizabethan times and still applies today!
(Sorry turcica, I plaguiarized your thread title! )

I've always used the signature zone for another avatar-type animated gif. Or two or three, whatever will fit.
It's just too frustrating having to choose only ONE avatar, there are so many great ones. I'm not too great at finding meaningful quotes in literature or pop culture anyway.

I, also, enjoy reading the signatures and looking at the avatars. I never change mine as mine fit me like a glove. I always loved Ward's talks with Wally and the Beaver and my signature is one of Ward's best lines ever! I also look through people's bios also. I think you can usually get a feel for someone by looking at all three. Yep, I sometimes have too much time on my hands.........

No problem night shade! Excellent idea too. As for my signiture I worked in healthcare for many years. In that time I have seen many miracles. Some that took my breath away. As I am an avid Readers Digest reader and they have a section on quotable quotes, I stumbled on my current one and it fit like a glove ( thank you Jewel, who I also listen to, for your lovely words). This is a great thread! turcica

Hey,
I love reading them as well. I choose mine because beauty is only skin deep and if you feel beautiful, others will see you this way as well. If you walk with your head down and mope, people will perceive you as just that, unhappy! You can be a supermodel, but if you have an ugly personality, full of yourself, selfish, people are not going to want to be around you
This is not to please other people, I know I feel good about myself when I get compliments, it could be my hair, eyes, whatever, it makes your day!

I like reading them too. I pulled mine from a Rolling Stone interview of Syd Barrett from the early 70s. He was/is rocks most notorious acid casualty. When asked what he had been up to, that was his reply.

I really like reading peoples' signatures and trying to understand the meaning in them. Some are obvious, some are way out there, some are personal and it is just a great way to add a bit of our personality to the board.
Henry1- I'm glad you responded and told us about your signature...I love the mysterious sigs and I hadn't yet figured out if yours was a quote or just something you thought up. GREAT SIG!
JOJOM- I also really love self-affirming sigs. A great reminder to all of us to have confidence in ourselves.
Unfortunately, my poor brain can't handle all the memory tasks I set it to do and so I can't remember everything else I wanted to say about the others' sigs...darn---foiled again...what's the name of that new Alzheimer's med? Do you think it works for regular CRS?

Just heard this on Fox Good Day Live and had to post it...for all of us cynics out there!

Thank you. I try to live by this as well. I have had many bad points in my lifetime, and many in the present, but this has always helped me through to remember it.

A great place to find "quotable quotes" is in the Readers Digest. Thats where I get most of mine. I have a stack of them and every now and then I change mine, it's a girl thing, LOL. I have to honestly say I have more quotes I like than shoes I like, LOL. Couldn't resist.

We had a pet ringtail when we lived on the ranch. He was so cute and funny, but got to be a handful in the house. We slowly released him into the wild. Months later we saw him with another ringtail just playing and such near where his outside home was.
