Hello all,
Since as Americans we never really learned the Metric system, I have a question. How does 60mg translate to 60ml. Are they the same?
Thanks,

ml's convert to cc's ( 30 ml = 30 cc). the mg amount per ml/cc of any med is determined by the med and manufacturer. mg/ml is like oranges/apples. turcica

To try to put it more clearly, mg is a unit of mass, and mL is a unit of volume, so you can't convert from one to another.

If it's water, they're essentially the same. 1 ml (or 1 cc) of water at a certain temperature has a mass of exactly 1 gram. That's why the density of things is usually stated in comparison to water. See http://www.essex1.com/people/speer/density.html

Okay, don't ask me about this conversion stuff either. I'm not that bright.
But I've got to ask...what is with the Morning Glory seeds? What were they for? And why did you get sick? Answers, please!

Morning Glory Seeds (Heavenly Blue in particular) are a perfectly legal psychadelic--more powerful than anything constructed in a lab. To learn more go to erowid.com.

Not "perfectly legal." Rather, legal within bounds. The seeds are legal as long as they're not sold as a drug, and also legal as long as no extracts containing controlled substances (and Morning Glory contains several) are made from the seeds.

Ok Lemongrass - I'm right there with ya babe. Who would wake up and say "hey I think I'll down some Morning Glory seeds...."
I'm sure they, along with many other natural products contain stuff that will take you off to another plaine. I actually work with someone that can't eat poppyseeds because she gets wasted (honest) - it's a total bummer 'cause then I'm just feel obligated to eat all the muffins...She also can't eat chocolate either - gee wiz, I think I'd just need to be shot. I mean, I could care less about booze, cigarettes and the like = but NO CHOCOLATE - that's harsh.
I'm not doubting the Morning Glory seed thing or even making fun - it's just one of those things I'd never heard of & just kind of thought "who da thunk?". It's kind of like who ever figured out mushrooms would make ya see pretty colors - I mean, here there were are all these people sitting around and looking at all this dried ugly hunks of stuff that smelled like cow doody, and then all had the same brainstorm - hey - lets EAT this stuff.
Hmmmm, I wonder if morning glory muffins would taste as good as lemon poppyseed muffins - can any of ya'll cook - we'll be waiting for the answer - ha.

I ate an Orchid once when I was a kiddie. Apparenlty it was a very rare orchid type, and was only occasionally found where we were holidaying (a cottage near marshlands in Ireland). I was hallucinating for three days - when my mum took me to the hospital, they said "don't worry, it's not harmful and it'll wear off"......
Wish I could find that orchid again........

What about licking certain toads? Who was the first to do that? In case you don't know, certain toads excrete a psychadelic "juice." Who thinks of these things?
