Before finding this forum and learning A LOT I ordered an anxiety med from cydrugs.com. Well here I am a month later with a package from Pakistan.
I had no idea that this medication would be coming from out of the country and frankly I'm a little concerned about taking it.
The worst part of all is the fact that it was sent registered and I was not home when they tried to deliver it. So I sent my husband to retrieve my "package" not knowing what it was, and I received one angry phone call.
It would seem that the post office was a little concerned with it's place of orgination as well as my husband.
Maybe I'm the naive one here and should have checked into this a little better, but no where on this site did it list that the medication would be arriving from Pakistan.
Any one out there have any experience with this web site?
Since finding this forum and reading/learning a lot, I can see where I went wrong.
Thanks in advance~

I used to get Milid from Susan Shaffer's various web sites where the site/payment is based in Australia but the meds are shipped from Lahore, Pakistan. Long after 9/11 i never had a problem getting their packages by Registered Mail. But last fall i ordered 3 boxes of Milid that never arrived and never got a seizure notice. I e-mailed them and told them i was an established customer and had never had a problem before. They offered me a free reship or a full refund. I chose the refund and they were as good as their word. But i wouldn't order anything that i knew would come from Pakistan any more. Customs (ICE) is now a part of the new Dept. of Homeland Security and they've integrated their operations.

P.S. What was that phone call about? Did your husband refuse to accept the package? What did the post office tell him or ask him?

I thought the phone call was just her hubby yelling at her cause she sent him to do that, I know my (ex) hubby would not be pleased if I sent him to pick up a package and didn't tell him that it was meds from pakistan (even though she didn't know what the package was when she sent him!!) That was just what I got from the post, correct me if I'm wrong!!

Well Hubby was angry for a couple of reasons.
First: was that I hadn't told him anything about my online purchase.
Second: was the fact that the postal employee made "jokes" about it's origin and said, "Well it's not ticking."
Lastly: is the fact that my husband is in Law Enforcement and he didn't think this was "above board" if you know what I mean.
So I heard it for a while. I feel stupid and naive. After reading so many things on here and seeing how NWW operates, I should have had the red flags going up.
My husband has me paranoid now because he said someone in Pakistan has all of my information. I paid with my cc through this cydrugs.com so does anyone think that people in Pakistan have my info??
I think I get the Idiot of the year award!!!

One thing I suggest is to have your credit card number changed asap.
It's very easy to do. Say you lost it, they will cancel it and send you a new one.

Yep. It happens to us all.
And I know you didn't know it was coming from a place like pakistan. I'd panic too.

I have used Susan Schaeffer with very little success. She cashes the credit cards receipts then never sends the order. They always come up with some type of hoakie excuse so I've quit doing business with them. The only problem is, is that they do business under so many different names, they are hard to avoid. I would avoid them...there are too many sites willing to do things right to let one site rip you off!
