I'm off to the Dr. tomorrow for the first time in a year. I owe the trip to this board. I thought I would just tough it through the rest of what ever life I had left, but being here opened up opportunities and other views and even real help. So now I'm out to help myself and do what I can to stabilize my condition. Thanks to all.
good luck at the dr and let me tell you this board has really helped thru some tuff times. opened my eues about alot of reality we never see but only hear about. the people on this board share their experiences and what greater knowledge is there that someone who can give you first hand information becuz they have lived thru it, not a dr's text book not a college course but real life experience, i owe becoming hydro free to this board becuz the people on here helped me understand i wont die if i stop taking narcotics for pain, i may get a lil sick, but everyday got better and now i am clear headed again, and i have my life back.
Well I'm glad that I have you all to fall back on cuz I had a "no joy" visit to the Dr. They ordered some tests and took some blood, but didn't have the right anti inflammatory meds I could use (with my liver thing) and there pain meds were to high in tylenol for me also. So I'm back to being my own doctor (so be it).
