I'm not aware that Florida has a monitoring program right now though they have talked about getting one. You seem to be walking on thin ice with all the meds coming from the same state.
I'm surprised that being in Florida that you have not found a wonderful caring Doctor that will prescribe what you want, since Florida is where most of our meds come from.
I personally would not fillit but if you must, pay cash and use a small mom-n-pop type pharmacy.
Good Luck,

Auto, As of now Florida doesn't have a monitoring program in place. Here is a web page that shows the states that do

But I would also be carful on what and when you fill certain drugs!

So because our RX are prescribed in another state that does not have this system in place does that mean we are NOT in the database??? I live in NY and I only use one place right now NWW but should I be worried the FEDS are going to come knocking at my door?????

thanks for the information! I feel better about that. I thought that I had read on here that florida did participate in some program. Is there a seperate, state-level system that isn't tied to the feds anywhere? I wonder....

I don't know about you, but I know I'm in trouble with this thread, 'cause I have no idea what you thought you were getting in trouble for!

I would think that a pharmacy located in a state with monitoring in place would have to report to the database any meds dispensed that were part of the monitoring program.
AFAIK, Fla is trying out a monitoring program with Medicare/Medicaid patients.
I read that here somewhere, I am not in FL, nor on Medicare or Medicaid, so I am not positive that it is true.
