Booker...I absolutely believe that you could get releif partially or completely with manipulation!! When I was pregrnant with both my girls I went to an osteopath every week to get my cyatica (sp?) on both sides of my back corrected. I would feel great after leaving the drs office! I swear I could tocuh my toes to my fingertips when I would walk out of his office when I couldn't even sit down or lie down when I would walk in. I too was not a believer of manipulative medicine and very, very leary of those doctors due to negative press and passed down horror stories. But, it worked for me and I t'm not sure I could have worked through either pregnancy without the weekly treatment of my osteopath! (If anyone is reading this in the Denver area PM me and I will send you the name of the dr....he is the ABSOLUTE BEST in his field in the state of Colorado!) Unfortunately, my job has moved me around 7 times in the past 16 years, so I don't live there anymore and haven't seen him as a patient in almost 2 years.

Shade and Tiger...thank you both for your extensive and very well researched feedback. I am sitting here with goosebumps all over my body to the thought that I am not crazy, first of all, and secondly that I may have found the "needle in the haystack" that I have been looking for medically for almost 20 years. You guys are my guardian angels....and for that I thank you all from the very bottom of my heart!

I am going to call my GP right now for a referral. I will continue to check this thread and post throughout this process for potential advise and feedback. Again, thank you all sooooooooo much!!!

P.S. I was so excited about all of this that I called my husband at work to tell him!! He is as excited as I am, maybe even a little bit more, that I might have found a solution. Wow....what an amazing thing HOPE is!
