Re: PACKAGING OF NWW'S NEW PHARMACY UNIPHARM [Re: ken2]
      #142751 - 02/28/04 05:39 PM

If it arrives... ....I never got a tracking number e-mail yesterday or today, maybe because Kimberly had to fax my order to Unipharm on Friday morning rather than ordering it with the online link...

I hope to get it Monday (desperately hope to get it) since it was supposed to be sent Friday by Standard Overnight (not Saturday) - I will post the return label text as well as packaging details when I get it.

Aside from my tracking # problem and the return label/packaging issues some people noted, I'm more concerned about 3 other things I read on this board that I'll summarize below for Chris:

1. At least one person got charged the old price for norco ($110 for #120) instead of the new price of $90 that was posted for a week. I think it was from St. Pete's.

2. I also noticed in the member section (and someone else posted it on this board) that their re-order links show the OLD higher FedEx shipping costs starting on Friday. Was anyone charged the old prices for delivery recently? The new prices are $20 for standard overnight, $25 for priority overnight and $12 for 2 day. Saturday was supposed to go down from $52 to $40 I think. I am hoping this is just a bug on their re-order link that reverted back to the old prices and people are paying the new, lower prices.

3. Transfer requests that were double checked and confirmed from St. Pete's to Unipharm got filled at St. Pete's anyway posted by 2 people. Someone made a good point about letting people use up their refills at St. Pete's if transfer logistics cause problems. That is understandable I think - we just need to know the policy.

Hopefully Chris or someone from NWW will return to the board early next week and address these 3 topics...I hope they turn out to be MINOR glitches as NWW strives to bring us LOWER med prices & LOWER shipping prices with GENERIC MED CHOICE (e.g. Watson) from their new pharmacy...

Blackcat,

Just wanted to say that my husband had his refills transferred to Unipharm last week with no problems. It was actually on Friday, too, and he never received a receipt, a tracking number or anything. What he did to make sure it went out was call Fedex, give them your address and zip, and they can tell you if there is indeed a package due to be delivered to you on Monday. They can also give you a control number to reference to on Monday if you want to call back and see if it is in route to you. His was delivered on Saturday. Chris did say that the Dr. had to re-write the scripts to be called in at the new pharmacy and Mindy said yesterday she was working late because they were so, so busy, so it probably went out. You might give Fedex a call and see if you can find out anything, so you won't have to think about it all w/e. Hopefully next week things will get straightened out. So the 120 Norco was supposed to change to $90, right? Their price list today shows $110. Hmmm...well good luck on your package, and thanks for speaking for us to Chris regarding these issues! You have it all down to a "T".

-Kari

It sounds like you were definitely ready for her then! What a great response. I always have responses...after the fact. I still CANNOT understand how she could act in that manner!!

On my next consult with NWW I believe I am gonna stay with St. Pete's for the time being. I never had any problems with them and I like descreet packaging as I get my delievery at my store.
I don't want my employees shaking around my Fedex packages.

Does anyone know if St. Petes are shipping Watson/10/325 now or is it still that other brand??

I know Chris will not tollerate second best so I'm confident to continue using them.

Any thoughts would be helpful.

I am with you, I want to stay with St. petes as well. They have never messed up for me and St. peters looks like a religious name or something so its very discreet... I really do not want NWW at my job

I would really be pissed off. I have a question: How come I never receive a email reminder from NWW? I receive all other emails from them, never a reminder? It bogles my mind.
My refill is due Today, I cannot order until Wed. I get paid and I had all my bills due at once this month.

Anyway, its no big deal, just curious if anyone has this problem....

I received an order from NWW last Saturday from it's new Pharmacy Unipharm, everything went without a hitch as per usual with NWW, I got my Saturday delivery, the return address on the label said Unipharm, and although the bottle had cotton it it, it still shook. I've had worse, real rattling but IMO you could still tell it was pills of some sort. I really would prefer even more discreetness. As far as all the Fedex stories above I believe them. There are some people that must make themselves feel superior to others anyway they can. And 14 stones, thanks for your personal story, what pain you must have endured. And yes 14 stones becomes clear now. I thought it was a reference to British weight vs pounds!

Hi everyone I am new to this site and have been overwhelmed with how helpful everyone is. From all the wonderful feedback on NWW I decided to give it a try...having had CP for over 2 years now and nothing but naproxen from my Dr. I ordered my consult on 2/26, had consult on 2/27 and recieved my meds today 2/28. To answer your questions regarding the packaging.. It came from Unipharm. It had Kimberly's name on it as well as Norcoworldwide. It was packeged well with enough cotton that it hardly rattled at all. But they do still have the Norcoworldwide on the label. Other then that though NWW has been amazing and I am so thankful to find them and this board. Finally I do not feel so alone with CP.

No bug. Chris posted on another thread that the owners came in and didn't like the new prices. It was they who had the old prices returned. Chris is still in meetings with them to try and get the new prices returned. He's busting his behind for folks and folks need to chill and let the man do his job. His CS people are the best there is, and maybe folks should be communicating to them instead of posting or PM-ing him over every little glitch in the system. As someone else noted, you don't go to the bank's president to get more deposits slips, ya know.

The owners should give full credit to Chris for his foward thinking and for putting NWW at the "tip of the spear" when it comes to OPs.

Just remember back 2 months and look how far Chris has taken them. If he wants to cut 120 norcos by $15 to be more competative, allow him to do it. Heck, he's saved the company! If he wants to become more aggressive on freight, let it be. It will all come home as greater profits for NWW and a more satified customer base.

Right now people are willing to pay more at NWW for the consult just because of the team there. That's all. That's the differnce. You can get a cheaper consult and you can get cheaper meds.

The only difference is Chris and his team.

Chris is a proactive, foward thinking person that cares about his customer base very much. And those kind of people are hard to find in any business today. I wish I had two!Let him manage your company. He understands this business and his customers.

And thanks to the owners of NWW for funding such a great project.I know you are proud to be associated with Chris and his team. With them you will enjoy increased sales and larger profit margins as you increase your volume.

Change is often hard to adapt to, especially when it comes to the invested dollar and the return of one or two of them...Believe me I know a thing or two about this. But it always comes down to our players. NWW has a good team!

Hi,

Okay, a few thoughts (can someone tell everyone up in our thread?);

1. I will change the return address: I am hearing this--I will address this first thing in the morning. I am not happy that anyone feels compromised at their work place.

--I am sorry JO/Telegraph. I just can not be positive about the Watsons/Ables.

2. The owner of St. Pete's is taking a VERY proactive posture; competition. I am hoping that we can table some of the issues, that have forced NWW to look for other pharm. options...I will keep you posted.

3. If I can not be where you want in med pricing/shipping--I will work with consults. I have spoken to the owners at length, and they suggest a lower consult fee.

4. Please PM. I have Mindy answering for me on a full time basis. I am really in and out right now. Most of you have Kim's direct line: use it. She will accept, and return calls all night--you know that.

Thanks so much for your inspiring support.
I remain sincerely,
-C

*For those of you who want to transfer back to St. Pete's let Mindy know via PM.

So should we stay with St. Pete's or request to be transfered to Unipharm? If St. Pete's is willing to offer lower prices, I'll stick with them. But I also want to know that they will be sending Watsons - that I can request that and that's what I'd get.

Each of the pharmacies has their pluses and minuses. Unipharm is so new, at least to NWW customers, that we really don't know how they'll be in the long term. I've been satisfied with both. Brief delay around New Years with St. Pete's, but otherwise satisfied with St. Pete's, and their new packaging is GREAT ! When it comes to generics most are fine for me, so I've had Ables and Watsons, and they are the same to me. I understand that some folks have preferences as to which generic they want. I've gotten the Ables from St. Pete's, and I'm very satisfied with them. One way to be absolutely sure what you get is to order the brand name, which is more expensive.

From recent posts it's clear that NWW is undergoing some changes. Chris has made some posts that he is working with the owners of the company on pricing and other matters.

I'd say let's just calm down and wait for Chris and NWW to sort things out. I'm sure NWW will come through for us.

Getting the lowest price is not the only thing to consider. Isn't is just as important to have a SOLID and reputable company that will be around to serve us for many years to come?

Thanks Chris and NWW. Please be sure to post back to provide us with updated information about your GREAT company and service.

Thank you very much !

For whatever it's worth, most people have no clue what Norco is. In fact, it seems most people still say Vicodin even though to me Lortab/Lorcet is a much more recongnizable name, along with hydrocodone.

I'm sure these are growing pains and will be corrected in the future.

I know of only OP that sends there meds in a box and this is by fat teh very best method since no one has any clue what is in there.

Chris, can you talk to your pharms about this? Even a small box that will still fit inside the overnight envelopes. I doubt the cost is that much and it would help.

Thanks for listening.

Morning Kittie,

That is the crux of it; the Watsons. Most of you prefer the Watson, and I can NOT be sure that they will be sent. You can opt for either pharmacy of course, but I can only guarantee the Watsons out of Unipharm.

I will change the return address today.

I will also check into the little boxes.

Morning JO,

The developers have been working on the back end of the site since Thursday (I think that is the day); that could be why you didn't get a reminder.

If someone else has not gotten one, please let me know, so I can ask the IT team directly, if they have changed something.

Hey Chris,

I did get a reminder it was a day late and it said you will be due SOON for a refill, but I was due a day ago! Really, its not a big deal at all. I just thought you might want to know so you can make sure there are no glitches some where!
