i have been taking 100mg liquid methadone a day for about 3 years and am ready to wean myself off.i've taken xanax before for anxiety, and they worked great, but my doc. took away my prescription so i got 2 questions.does anyone think xanax with a muscle relaxer like soma would relieve some of my stress, anxiety, and just that really tense feeling of methadone withdrawl???also, does anybody know any affordable, reliable sites where i can order xanax, valium,or clonazepam and which sites in ya'lls opinion has the best quality generics???PLEASE post sites, experiences, and prices and it would be greatly appreciated.i've never ordered online but have been hearing and reading some real horror stories.i know that nothing is 100%,but who gives me/us the best chance of getting what we order???thanks so much for everybody's replies in advance.

Try gigapharma.com they have rivotril 2mg for $16 per 60 + $6 shipping they also have Xanax but Im unsure of prices!!
Hope this helps!!
Also pharm88.com are extremely reliable and very discreetly packaged although a little more expensive but in my experience they are as close to a guarantee of delivery as you'll get with a IOP!!!
PS Good luck with the methadone!! I watched my cousin struggle with it for many years!!
It's a very hard drug to kick!!

Under a physician's care, Catapres (Clonidine), which is a blood-pressure medication, can help wonderfully with opiate withdrawal symptions. It should be titrated and carefully monitored, so I would beg you to do so only under the care of your physician, but as it is non-narcotic, and can only help, he should not resist by any means whatsoever, provided Clonidine is not otherwise contraindicated for you.
Best of luck.

good luck, I think you will need at least klonopin for the weaning process, most methadone users prefer xanax and/or klonopin I have never ordered over the net so can't help you there.

I'm on 'done for a variety of opiates, mainly oxy. Could you either pm me with the same comment or post it. I would be interested in what you've said.

I have found Ativan to be extremely helpful in such circumstances, i.e. withdrawal from Oxicontin, Heroin, Methadone. Also you can try to wean yourself down from the doses you were on, to smaller doses. Supplement with small doses of anti-anxiety med when the heebee geebees start. YOU CAN GET THROUGH IT. ...keep the faith...

I can tell you that anxiety is a part of most detoxes, and having a stock of any of the benzos is a plus - everybody has their own favorite - mine was good old valium. I think some have mentioned their BP going through the roof once you start getting to the ultra-low doses of whatever you're weaning yourself off of. One thing that a lot of people don't prepare for or don't expect until it happens in the intense, debilitating depression that can ruin your day to day, minute to minute life, and there are some folks that respond well to an anti-depressant. Me, I think they are all poison, and I've been on maybe 5 or 6, maybe more different types. I am not saying they don't work, just that they're not for me. The post-use depression can be relentless, seemingly never ending, and hard to manage. Anxiety and BP can be controlled quite effectively with the right medication. Make sure you get some advice on depression - there are many ways to address this - keep an open mind and don't bail on a medication or a treatment program because they don't have immediate results.
