This may sound really stupid, but what does LOL stand for?
I see so many posts with those letters, but I have no idea what it stands for? Please enlighten me!

Don't feel stupid, it took me a month to figure out what IMHO (in my humble opinion) meant. Also, LMAO (laughing my a$$ off). BRB (Be right back) if you're IM (instant messaging) someone. What else? Please you computer geeks (and I mean that in the most friendly way) let us novices in on some more of your inside secrets. This could be a great thread. Sometime in the future maybe instead of having to type complete words it'll all be done by way of abbreviations.

Boy do I feel dumb. I thought LOL meant Laugh On Line and IMHO I thought was In My Honest Opinion. LOL

Well, you may be right with IMHO, because according to this page, it can mean "In My Honest Opinion"
