I have Fibromyalagia and Myofascial pain syndrome. Im very new to the disease. For the most part my symptoms are related to my LUE's. I was wondering if anyone out there has experienced having bilat leg pain? Today I have the bilat leg pain, back pain, headache and low grade fever too top the list off! I have had to stay in bed the majority of the day.( thank goodness for pain meds that help). I have done research on these two conditions, however have not found any info on them regarding the symptoms I am having currently. If anyone out there could help me out with this, I would truley appreciate it.
Thanks,
Daisy

Maybe the symptoms you're currently experiencing are unrelated to your conditions. Since you have a low grade fever, perhaps you are getting the flu or some other nasty virus that is going around. Just a thought....hope you feel better soon.

LUE'S means left upper extremities( both of my arms). My PCP and Neurologist first diagnosed me with Myofascial Pain Syndrome and then Fibro based on the tender point vs. Trigger point theory. I also experience pain in the neck area, frequent migraines, Fatigue...I could go on and on, however the bilat leg pain is rather new to me. Some days I feel fine, other days I literally could live in bed, and even then Im not comfortable. Now at first my PCP thought I had Lupus because that is what my mother had, blood test however came back neg for that and arthritis. JOJO, thanks for the link you provided...the info was very helpfull! Any info on this condition from others would be greatly appreciated...
Thanks,
Daisy

Daisy,
I never heard of bilat leg pain, is it kinda like RLS, restless leg syndrom in a way? That must be a horrible thing to deal with. If you are not already, I truly feel that certain herbs and vitamins can make a big difference in certain conditions. My back pain seems minut compared to you. I would assume rest is the best thing for you. Most of us do not get enough of that....
watching over you, wishing you the best!

There is no one blood test that can tell you whether or not you have Lupus. Only a rheumatologist can make that determination for sure. I was not going to come out and say that in the first post I made but look under a thread that says "just want personal experiences" . Read all that, pm if you want.
