Hemochromatosis - "Iron Overload", and PAIN.

Hi Yall,

I have just recently been diagnosed with this yucky disease. Now I finally have an answer to my screaming knee (and elbow, and shoulder, etc) PAIN. I have iron deposits in the joints. Lovely. Next week I go to a Gasto to get a biopsy done on my liver. Great. This is something I have NEVER heard of before. Any information on this disease would be greatly appreciated. Anybody else here suffering with this?

I believe I've read that donating blood helps.
