mvw/netpain has alway's been a half a** operation to begin with. Why anybody uses them is beyond me.
I was pretty happy with the CS at medsviaweb, and the speed of delivery, less than 24 hours after consult I had meds in hand. My refills have come overnight too. I had a problem with their doctor, who would not give me the #90 I requested, and for that reason i won't be going back for a new consult.
I wanted to say that it makes me VERY nervous that anybody should have my social security number, especially someone who also has credit card infor. I have been the victim of an attempted identity theft, which we caught in time to avoid any major hassle or financial disaster. Someone had one of my CC #s, as well as my billing address and enough other information to open a paypal account, launch a web site selling stolen ICQ #s, and begin accepting payments.
What stoped them from totally taking over was that they didn't have my SS #. They made one up and some computer caught it, got suspicious and contacted me for clarification.
By the way, I couldn't think of any reason MVW needed my SS#, so I gave them a bogus one.

DBP, I hope you will post your firm's address and the name and address of your pharmacy tomorrow (Monday) when you return to work from the weekend.
I can understand if you don't want your phone number posted if you prefer to handle customer service by the web.
Could you also please provide us with an estimate for when you may change to a secure web site DBP? If you don't have an estimate or don't feel comfortable for legal reasons (or whatever) in posting an estimated date, I understand.
If this is the case, however, please be so kind as to just post the address of your company and the name/address of your pharmacy. This will put alot of current and potential customers' minds at ease (including mine) and will give people more confidence in doing business with your firm.
I hope you check this board early this week and if you won't provide the requested contact info, please post an explanation for why. I'm sure it won't be a problem - even the "no record, fly-by-night" shops that were running last fall published the location and contact info. for their companies and pharmacies.
Thank you in advance.

We changed to a secure site on Friday but took it back down when all the data we received was sent to us in encrypted form and we were unable to translate it into usable information. We are working on this issue now.

Thank you for posting your address DBP.
If you are bound contractually from giving out the pharmacy address, could you at the very least provide us with their NAME and possibly the CITY they are in?
I also recall that DBP owns the pharmacy - is this true? If so, I find it strange that DBP would enter into a contract with its own pharmacy to not reveal who they are. However, I'll take your word and simply ask you for the NAME and possibly the CITY of the DBP pharmacy, and not the address or phone number.
As I said in my prior post DBP, posting this additional will go a long way in giving us confidence that we are dealing with a reputable place that is not out to rip anyone off, etc. The more open you can be about your location, your pharmacy etc., the more confidence potential customers will have and the more business you will get. (I, for one, am waiting to learn about the DBP pharmacy now before I place my order).
Thank you in advance.
