I've sent 3 or 4 emails now with no reply. This doesn't make for very good feedback.

i had a consult with d.b.p and found out they only take paypal for the consults, no paypal account here and dont plan to have one soon. i just wonder how they will work out for them??? they will send meds cod/moneyorder.
i dont know about refills,,i can't get my 1st script!! deeron

Hi there Deeron,not sure if this helps or not,but have you considered just opening a paypal acct. real quick? they are easy to open and are invaluable to have.I have had mine for years and they come in very handy as many many places accept them.Just an idea,but if you go to www.paypal.com check it out its pretty painless...hope all goes well for you! Hi All-

Just wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem with DBP. I had a great cpnsult with Dr. L. He sent the script to North Howard Pharm to be fill. It was late in the afternoon and I called North Howard, they had the script and said they would ship it out for Saturday delivery. Problem is, I didn't get the DBP usual UPS tracking notice.

Anyone have their meds how up on a Saturday without their tracking #? Do they use any type of "alternate reference search" on the UPS tracking page?

Thanks for any insight.

There is a way you can try but I can't guarantee that it will work for DBP. Go to UPS tracking and on the right side of the page it will say 'track by referrence number' Click on that and in the first space it will say 'referrence number' Put in your last name in CAPS and your 5 digit zip code. For instance, SMITH12345. Then put in the date you think it was shipped and today's date underneath that. The destination postal code will be your zip code, then of course your country. If that doesn't work, I also once found a tracking # by just putting in only the first initial of my last name and zip. For instance, S12345. I can't promise this will work but it's worth a shot. I hope I haven't confused you too much, and if anyone can explain it a little clearer than I, PLEASE do.

Well, it doesn't look like I ever came back and posted an update or an ending to the story...
Doctorbyphone did come through. They did answer my email and they did follow through with the refills. I also want to add that their customer service is one of the best. Sometimes I have to accept the fact that some things cannot happen over night and that I'm not the only customer they have.

Their prices are good, their customer service rocks, and they are a top notch online company.
Thumbs up.

(This should have been posted a couple of months ago...my fault)

I think DBP SUCKS. I sent them what I had (doctor's notes stating my back problem), but they just wanted more than the doctor would give me. Anyone know of any place better to get Vicodin???? Thanks, Royalpain1

Your records belong to you. Request them from your Dr's office. If your talking about something your Dr wrote on a peice of paper on how to take care of your back, it proabably won't work with anyone.

Or, the non records OP's will work for you.

Hi everyone,

Just a quick note to let you know that Doctor By Phone was hit hard by Hurricane Frances.

Dr. Lieberman was still recovering from the severe damage he sustained to both his home and office during Hurricane Charley, which has now been greatly compounded by Frances.

However, he has insisted that we carry on uninterrupted, so we wanted to let you know we have rigged up a way to help him as much as possible and get everyone's orders and refills processed and out the door without any delay. Let's just say it involves someone sitting in Starbucks all day with a laptop and a cell phone, and someone running back and forth to the doctor's office, which is still without power or phone service (as are we). It is hot and windy and rainy here, but hey, it's always like that!

We will get all of our Tuesday orders out the door by 5pm and (hopefully) get your tracking numbers to you. I say hopefully because sometimes FexEx does not get the tracking information to us in time, especially during emergencies like this, but the orders themselves do get shipped for next day delivery.

We truly appreciate your continued support as we try to climb out from under this storm and brace ourselves for Ivan, which will hopefully miss us altogether. I don't know if we can make it through a third one! We also appreciate you helping us spread the word that we are still open for business and that we plan to do whatever it takes to get your orders to you quickly during this difficult time.

I was very happy with the customer service of DBP - both on the consult and initial and refill status of meds (I did not have a paypal account - and really did not want to sign up for one - but it is somewhat common at this point). I understand that mistakes happen but maybe it is just a numbers (statistical type of thing)- good luck and have patience - the weather will clear up - and your customer services will maybe have the same clearing. Well,
I'm truly hoping for someone to help me with my matter.

So far, I haven't received any calls, any emails, and no confirmation that my PM's have even been read.

I really do understand that things happen, especially when you are dealing with storms and all that, but please, can someone please try to contact me in one way or another???
I am a believer in DBP's customer service because in the past they have been amazing...so lets keep the flow.

***UPDATE***
Dr. finally reached me!!! Everything went perfect. He said my medication would go out today, so I emailed CS just to make sure they had my correct address and I am looking forward to and hoping for my meds to get to me tomorrow!!!

Well,
I got an email from DBP that my script was sent to pharmacy today, but I have no tracking number and when I called North Howard they said they don't have ANYTHING for me.

I guess I'll wait and see what happens tomorrow.

Your not alone. I have been having problems also with getting my prescription. After going thru a fiasco, the doctor called me today and said that I should receive my meds tomorrow. We'll see what happens. Let me know how things are going for you and I will do the same. And I'm always told NOT to call North Howard. The CS at DBP gets mad when they find out that I called the pharmacy. They tell me it will delay my order if I call NHP. I don't know why, but that's what they tell me. Anyways....

This account had issues that needed to be resolved by the customer. As soon as they were resolved, the order was sent out.

So I hear that the hurricane has really socked it to the office and the Doc's house. Now the last post says website is down (I can't get on it). Does this mean no refills? There is no way to communicate with them AT ALL since the site is down. I don't like not having phone numbers to call for CS. That is rediculous. I guess we are SOL.

I re-read that last post and it sounds awful. I am sorry about the hurricane and the Doc's home. I need to make that clear. What about the girls in the office? Did they suffer any damages? I read above where they are taking care of business via cell phones . . yes/no? I've been trying to get on the website all day without success. Are they taking time off? They should be back online. My wife ask for consult Friday and Saturday received word they booked her for Sunday night.Dr. called about 8:25 Sunday night and was very helpful. Received ane-mail this afternoon stating their server had a fire and web site was down for a long time. They confirmed her meds would be here tomorrow. For someone to have as many problems as they had I think they have gne the extra mile to serve their customers. Will contnue to use their service andno tlling how good it will be withot hurricanes and fires. Thanks to everyone from DBP.--------------------------------------------------Received meds this morning 9/21/2004 at 10:00am.MHO you can't do better than this.
