I have a dilema to share with you all. My boyfriend has chronic neck, lower back and terrible migraines. He has seen all the specialist's in the world and no help at all! He is going to college full time so he does not work right now. He has insurance and was seeing a really good Doctor for a few years, he would get 60 hydro 10, ambien, soma and fouiricet(do not mind my spelling) Anyway, he called last week and was informed the Dr. will NO longer prescribe pain meds to him, they feel it is too much! After 2 yrs, they tell him this. Anyway, he cannot afford a consult with an OP and I cannot pay for it- If anyone knows of a GOOD doctor in the N.Y area that will prescribe pain meds, please tell me! I feel so bad for him, he can hardley walk, and there is only so much I can give him....
I know you are going to say, I do not want to ruin what I have with my Dr. by giving out the Dr's name to me, I helped a member with a Dr. I had seen when I lived in another state and he PM me saying THANK YOU SOOO MUCH she had given him all he requested for...

Hi - my doctor would freak if I ever posted his info on this board but I did PM you. Also, on the VIP side there is a whole forum devoted to compassionate doctors, indexed by region.
