Okay, someone please 'splain to me. Say someone has 4 stars already and I want to add one more. Do I give them 1 star or 5 (if that's what I wanted to rate them) For some reason, when I tried to rate someone I hit one star thinking it would add to the others this person already has, but then, it showed I rated this person a 1 which I didn't mean to do. I'm so confused. I don't like the stars. I remember when we used to get them put on our foreheads in Kindergarten when we were good and some kids had more than others and the kids with less would cry. LMAO Sorry DB, JMHO and I do know your intentions were good.

Jordan, I think if you want some one to have a more stars you have to give them alot, if you give them one it will subtract from their "average". Silly, huh? But I don't know if just one person can affect someone's rating. I am going to give you a vote (a good one) let's see if it does anything.

Thanks CeeBee!! I think I get it now, and you didn't have to give me any stars, but thank you anyway. MY SO rates me a 10 and that's all that matters to me. LOL

Whatever rating you give will be factored into the overall average for that person.

I totally agree, Jordan! This whole star thing has me really puzzled.
Does it really mean anything? Does the number of stars really truly represent a consensus of opinion on the "worth" or "value" of the person to the DB community? I don't think so.
