This is all too riduclous, Listen you are All GREAT WONDERFUL 5 STAR PEOPLE!!!!.....Prettyday, Sky Queen, Summer, Turcica, Jordan, Sweetz, JoJoMom, and the list goes on and on.......please DB get rid of these riduclous stars, its so chidish and just seems to be huring some peoples feelings. I personally dont care if I have stars or not, I mean if they did something useful like got me a bigger discount on my consults or something, well then it would be a different story but this is just plain lame.........Personally I would much rather have PD post about the mystical theories of the stars, at least that would be something worth reading........my point is you are ALL great people and for those that feel in anyway hurt by this stupid rating system.......we all love you no many how many stars you do or dont have, I mean look someone who had greatly contributed to this board and always has great info is Nightshade and Night only has three.........get my point?
Please stop sweating the star thing, If you need any type of personal reaffirmation, just PM me I would be more then happy to tell you how I personally feel about ya.......

I don't know, HOSS...it looks like you've either had people double and triple voting at the stars poll, or you are just so many more stars ahead of the rest of us!!!

I have come to the conclusion that the stars don't mean diddly squat. Hoss, I think you should be able to keep yours as you did a great job making it, especially flashing george too. Loved the joke prettyday. turcica

Hi I had been away from the board for a couple of weeks because I have been planning a wedding which has been very hectic! Anyways, I was wondering what the stars were for and accidently started a new thread about it. I don't neccesarily think that the stars are a great idea, but if there was some information on them somewhere on this forum then people would be more aware of what to do. If I personally new about them so many of you would have many stars as I think you have a great to offer everyone here and you all uplift my spirits on many days. Now that I know that we are to rate your great post then I will until they do away with the star idea!

Just checking out my stars!! I have to admit I was surprised when I logged on the other day and found I had 3. I really appreciated it but was left to wonder as I have been a member of the free board for a long time and find I am even introverted on DB (as in "real" life!), not sure why...I don't mean to be, but I have that nagging fear in the back of my mind that I will say something stupid.
I really don't see the purpose of the stars, but if everyone can remember to take them with a grain of salt, there couldn't be too many hurt feelings. Just my .02!

The first day I noticed it, we all had three stars with 8 rates. After that, it started changing. I feel like we are voting for someone to be king/queen of the prom. I agree with others that it has no relevance on what I think of someones posts.

Actually, I had 4 stars on the first day and many others had 4 or even 5 with the original 1st 8 rates. I don't know who did the original 8 rates, probably DB mods?
So, I guess one of my stars went to black hole status and shot! MAKE A WISH, QUICK!
(Hope you wished for a "5" cuz that's what I gave you!)

I was a three one day, a two the next day,then leveled off to a 3. I guess that's average. I guess I'll just have to resign myself to this. If I drop below a three I'll be on the top of the building with sweetz. Maybe the average or below's could set a date and go together. LOL. us lined up to jump. LOL

I was just thinking over the past few days how just life, and then, CP, FMS, MS, Lupus, DDD, oh dear, not leaving anything out- ok, CMS, CFS, all of it, takes away our capacity for deeper thought and reflection.
