Hi, I live in Italy and have limited access to medical care. My goal here is to find a pharmacy I can trust. I have been surfing on my own and am a bit confused. I don't understand the Physician call back. I know many pharmacies are located all around the world but do they really call you no matter where you live? What kind of records do the sites want and what "should" we tell them about our conditions. Maybe not enough or too much might mean they don't approve you? Also I see that sometimes the posts here differ as to whether a pharmacy can be trusted. Some people think a particular one is not trustworthy and some say "no problem". Do the pharmacies change from time to time as to their delivery time and dependability?
At this time I am looking to find medications for both muscle spasms (example Flexeril) and a good pain reliever for Osteoarthritis, Fibromyalgia and Degenerative Disc Disease. The over the counter meds and Ultram don't seem to help much with the pain.
I trust you guys to tell me the truth and hope you will be able to help me. I have always said to seek our those who have been there. You are the ones who really know. Thanks ahead of time for your time. I am open to suggestions and certainly appreciate any help you can give.

Hi -
I am new to using OP's, but I had a very good experience with www.youronlinedoctor.com, which I found though this forum. You will need medical records which document the conditions you are requesting medication for. They have a medical history form that you can print and complete, and then fax the completed form with your identification and medical records. They will e-mail you with an appointment time for a phone consultation. My consult was with a physician assistant and since my medical records were self-explanatory, I really didn't need to give a lot of additional information on the phone. I answered the questions honestly and was granted a prescription and received my medication a few days later (phone consult was on a Friday, received meds on Tuesday.)
You will find that everyone has their own opinion about the different OP's based on their individual experiences. You can trust the information provided on this forum, so you came to the right place.

The "call back" won't apply to you, being outside of the US. You should focus your attention on the international OP section. These Op's don't have consultations.

No US consult services will work with someone in Europe. And that would apply to the pharmacies too.Most of them won't even serve Nevada!

HI Ladysong,welcome to Db I hope you find some help and info for your problems.I have to say I am just really curious how the medical system works in Italy that you would be trying to find an American Dr.Do they have strict laws pertaining to prescribing your needed meds? I know a couple of the meds you mentioned such as Flexeril are easy to obtain thru OPs.Its funny that we use international pharmacys due to our USlaws and you look for help in the US!I guess the grass is always greener...... Take care Ladysong let us know if you have any luck,I am quite sure you will have trouble finding a US Dr. to give an online international consult though...plus export laws I am sure would prevent them from being able to send you anything. Hi there. I am going to check this out. The military has started a new thing. After all we can't be trusted to handle our own records. They won't let us take them with us. I will try asking them to make copies of my records which apply to my dieases and the care I have gotten. At the least the OP will say no. It is worth trying at least. Thanks for the heads up.

Will do. I found a couple of sites. Now I will contact them to make sure they deliver here. We have a street address so APO's aren't a problem.
