There ARE Ops and pharmacies, now, apparently, who WILL contact your PCP, but NWW is NOT one of them. Though others have criticized the scorcher thread that initiated this discussion, OPs are a hot legal issue right now, and the more information we have, I believe, the better off we are.
Chris is absolutely phenomenal. Does this angel ever sleep? Guess not.

Since you started the thread, you have the ability (used to I believe) to delete it. If you do, you should. The trouble is loads of people read the tagline and forget the rest. Or will read the first post and not go any further. You should eleminate your post or ask he mods to move it to the Legal board. Not being critical but, since you were wrong, it is only providing bad information and increasing paranoia for loads of people who are at their ends with it.
If you find it happening and are right, then post it everywhere, until then, your opinion is as valid as the rest of ours but, it wouldn't belong on this board, I think.
Cheers.

Hi-
I beleive that Chris said that there was no need for that thread to get deleted, that he is completely sensitve to the issue.

OK. I will leave it in the hands of the moderators and Chris. I honestly think it best, that since close to 600 people viewed the thread, not to suddenly delete it. That could cause MORE problems. I believe PCP contact IS an issue w/which we need to be concerned. Equally, letting Chris and people like Trampy explain the law to us is critical. I'll alert the mods and Chris.

I agree. I would only also say that there is an actual forum for that information and that Trampy does allot of legal reporting on it.

I have PMd both the mods and Chris to suggest deleting and/or moving the thread. No response from the mods. Chris said to leave it. So, unless I hear otherwise.... Certainly, their judgement trumps mine.

I actually found your thread informative because it is plausible that another op could do that. Thank God Chris was able to clear up that NWW does not call your pcp.
Did you ever go to your Dr Spine? That's been opn my mind and I want to make sure you're ok-

Thank you, Summer, for asking. Yep. My doc. called on a Friday afternoon, about a week after my NWW consult, telling me he needed to see me immediately---next morning, on Saturday. Freaked out amidst all the rumors, Chris reassured me that everything would be alright---that NWW had not contacted my PCP. Went to the appointment. Doc. said that he hadn't seen me in awhile (a few months) and wanted me to get a liver enzymes test because of "all the antibiotics I've been on." Still, I think it's weird. But, indeed, I am relieved.

I was also wondering Spine, I am glad to hear you just have a concerned doc, and he wasn't dragging you in there to give you the 3rd degree. Glad for you. Yes, it still is wierd though and coincidential.
