Hello Dear Patients,
We have some very exciting news for everyone!!! After discussion today between our lawyers and the NCBOP we are able to temporarily fill your prescriptions. This decision was reached after over a month of correspondence with the NCBOP and is what we here at Woody Pharmacy have been waiting for. As you understand, we only transferred out one refill last month, but because of the constant extensions, we have had to transfer out two refills for some patients. This was what we felt was in the best interests of everyone involved and was done for the benefit of the patient, with no further cost to the patient to obtain a new prescription. We know that many of you have had problems with other OPs and did not want to be transferred out at all. We went out of our way to take care of all of our patients to the best of our ability.
We have been given this temporary stay until further dialog has taken place with the NCBOP. Our lawyers and the NCBOP will be meeting on Thursday, February 19, 2004 to discuss the outcome of our case. Many of you might wonder, Why bother getting a refill if you are only going to stop filling again? and to that we must reply that many of you have decided to wait on your refill until Woody Pharmacy could process them and this is the time for that. Also, we feel confident that the NCBOP will allow us to continue to fill prescriptions after we meet with them after Thursday, and would like to be caught up with our workload when this decision is made. Basically, it keeps us from being backed up and helps to get prescriptions shipped to you in a timely manner. We do not recommend waiting until Thursday to call if your refill is due now! That will create a backlog that will be late getting shipped out.
We are sorry that we had to transfer some of you to other pharmacies, but at the same time our major concern has been getting your needed medications to you. If you have had to utilize another pharmacy for a recent consultation, we hope that you will consider us the next time your prescriptions are renewed. Unfortunately if you have a new order at another service we will unlikely be able to transfer any refills from that pharmacy.
We thank you all for your constant support and hope that you can all see how hard we have worked to keep you informed and taken care of during this whole process. We understand and appreciate al of the comments, negative and positive, and trust that this situation will be resolved shortly. We would like to say that everything we have done has been in your best interest and we shall endeavor to earn your continued respect.
Sincerely,
Woody Pharmacy

It's wonderful news for those that happen to have a refill due during the four-day time frame. Its hopeful news for the rest of us. I have always thought the world of YOD & Woody's, but after the nightmare of trying to get scripts transferred, filled correctly & shipped as requested I hesitate to go back to YOD/Woodys. YOD had the best customer service I have ever experienced. Woodys unarguably had the best prices available, but the thought of having to be subjected to TDI again if things dont work out for Woodys has me thinking of going somewhere else for my next consult.

I forgot to ask....If things don't work out for Woody's, Is it true that biwise is no longer an option and YOD's only pharmacy would be TDI?
