Hi..I'm getting psyched up this week to order from an OP that requires requires records!! As a former nurse I've spent TOO TOO much time TRAINING med students and residents, (all the while guarding and saving my patients from their mistakes) to revere them as a higher beings. And I truly believe that just because you have some initials(MD) behind your name that doesn't give you the constitutional right to make life altering decisions about my life.
That said, I know that there are some true gems of doctors out there. My PCP is one of them. But because of pressure from the part of soceity that doesn't have "bouts of chronic torticollis, migraines and chronic daily headaches(finally recognized as a "real" diagnosis)these "Gems" possibly feel resticted, stiffled, perhaps afraid? of prescribing the appropriate medicine for their patients in pain!!
*Just to clarify I take 1-2 norco's and a muscle relaxant a day, and have since I was 16, not a lot by some standards but too much for others.
I love my PCP she has tried a few different muscle relaxants on me and will prescribe one 7.5/750 Vicodin a day but I can't take all that Tylenol and sometimes need 2. So I just don't want any OP too call her. Even though she has provided me with records and knows I want plan to seek a specialist for help, I'm not sure she would approve of an OP.
I am looking for INPUT what OP can I turn too that won't call her and how does the consult/refill thing work? Do you keep having to get consults avery 2 reills?
I'm looking at Fedxmeds, NWW, and Doctorbyphone (because of their payment plan).
If there are any answers out there, I'd love to here from you!!
Thanks for listening to my soapbox...sj
...feel free to PM me.

NorcoWorldwide has always been a reliable, accessible, and customer-oriented resource, in my experience.

Agreed. And yes, you do have to have a consult after every 2 refills. There are many other good one's out there, but I've had the best experience with NWW (especially lately).
Take care,

As with everyone in this thread says-
NORCOWORLDWIDE. Their CEO Chris is on this board constantly and bends over backwards to take care of us. You can scehdule a consultation before you send in your records. You will receive your first round of meds from them the next day.But they are a complete law abiding top notch op. YOU MUST FAX IN YOUR RECORDS TO THEM BEFORE YOU GET YOUR FIRST REFILL. They follow the telemedicine laws to a "T".
I've been around the op world for awhile and have NEVER EVER come across such a wonderful, truly caring group of people in my life. Read the threads on all the ops. You may want to go with another one, but there's about 100 on NWW and you;ll see what I'm talking about-
Hope this helps-

NWW is the one to use, they are excellent and Chris on the boards all day to answer questions, you get 2 refills as long as records are received before the refill time..
Good luck to you!

sj, I have to agree with the others. NWW is great and I am not a patient of theirs yet so this is truly unsolicited. Just the fact that Chris is always available on the DB board when someone has a question or problem is reason enough. I plan to go with them when my refills with my current OP are finished. turcica

Just my two cents, I have used other OP's but I feel that overall NWW is the very best. Very reliable and even before Chris started posting here (which is very cool, Chris) their customer service in my experience was the best.

I have to agree, I just had my first consult earler this month & was totally happy with their service.
My advise is to read through all the OP's & feedback & go with what sounds best for you. There are alot of good ones from all the posts I have read, i went with NWW because Chris is on the boards here to answer questions & thats a plus to me
