I had a thought just now about the stars, the're not so much a rating as a reaction to what we've said. When someone reads a post and they identify or relate to it they can react to it with those stars. Since I've been on this board I've found it to be like a shipwreck. We are all prisoners to pain and we carry along with us those who would help and those who would take advantage of our condition. We have banded together here and the conditions we share make us understanding and caring of each others needs. This place is a haven for me and I can't explain it but I feel bonded to you all. Me too this is how I feel, I have no one else to talk to about my pain so I come here.
but I still dont know what to think on the stars thing.

I do agree with you, I feel connected to alot of you here.
especially Chris, he has been so nice just sends me a PM to say Hi how are you Today, I really appreciate that because sometimes my days just like all of your days are not the best. it could be your job, home life, people on the road who happen to Best if kept off the board you off or you are just having one of those days that a woman can relate too! So to all who think that what I write is only valid of 1-2 stars, that is okay because I know what I am, who I am and that I am a good person with plent of knowledge to boot!

We are social creatures that need to be listened to, and when possible held and loved. This place has alot of that even if it's just in writing.

You are so right orgart. Another thing I have found is when I am on the board reading and posting, it takes my mind off of my pain to a certain degree. This I find extremely helpful. I too feel a close bond to the members here. They understand things my friends and family without CP can't begin to understand. Great post. turcica
