I have used Stadol spray for my migraine headaches with much success. Has anyone else used this med and have you
ever requested it from an op?

Hi - yes and yes. YOD & SWMG will script it with good medical records indicating a history of migraines.

HELLO EMBER, I have received STADOL NS from FEDEXMEDS(U.S.OP THAT REQUIRES MEDICAL RECORDS AND CONSULT)I had to provide a good amount of MEDICAL RECORDS stating that I had been diagnosed with MIGRAINE HEADACHES. The consult cost $120.00 & the STADOL NS COST AROUND $240.00 with overnight shipping. (I GOT THEM TO GIVE ME A FULL FORMAT RECEIPT - THAT I SUBMITED TO MY INSURANCE COMPANY AND 2 WEEKS LATER I GOT A CHECK FOR $360.00 FROM MY INSURANCE COMPANY.) CHEESE

Wow, $240 is high! Its great that you got reimbursed & then some....
Using SWMG's pharmacy, generic Stadol NS is $70-something & brand is about $130. Both are plus shipping of course.
I think YOD's prices were about the same but they were using Woody's at the time...not sure how much it would be from Bi-Wise or TDI.
BTW, joining the VIP board will give you a great discount on consults from both SWMG & YOD, bringing the cost down to $85 & $90 respectively.

YIKES! I have never heard of stadol being that high priced.
You are lucky to have your insurance pay for it.

It IS that high. I use it. I found that costco has the generic for 32.00 a bottle. Sams is more expensive than Eckerd's is. Eckerd's is around 75 or so. Walmart is even more than that. I've had to buy some out of pocket because my insurance will only pay for 2 bottle a month. ugh.
I'm sure the Ops are high with it too. Before i found this doc, I went to the urgent care center and they gave me a script and I used my insurance, since I never could get it from the web.

501.15 for stadol and xanax. I guess I wont eat for a month but hey, I wont get a migraine either. huh? LOL

HELLO EMBER, What U.S. op gave you that price?(IF YOU DO-NOT MIND ME ASKING?)That price must include A CONSULT - NAME BRAND STADOL AND XANAX (THE STADOL IS MOST LIKELY THE LARGEST BOTTLE THEY OFFER AND THE XANAX MUST BE 2MG (NAMEBRAND) AND 120 TABLETS WITH 2 REFILLS.)The price is still a little too much for me! I WAS LIKE WHOA!! WHEN MINE COSTOVER $300.00 -But I had spoken to INSURANCE COMPANY before I paid for the order - Knowing I would get REPAID FOR THE ENTIRE COST! I THINK YOU SHOULD SHOP AROUND , CHEESE  PM ME WHEN YOU GET A CHANCE ,I MAYBE ABLE TO HELP YOU FIND A CHEAPER SOURCE.

Next time I need stadol I will shop around. I have plenty now and with it being that expensive I will make sure to stretch it as far as I can and make it last. I can not keep anything on my stomache with my migraines, so stadol is really my only option. I have experience the ER and was not made to feel comfortable at all. My reg. Dr. gave my two samples of stadol that lasted my a year. Thank you everyone for all the help you have given.
