Hi Marci,
Welcome...
Here is some recent feedback on emeds feedback
If you go to the next forum below this one called feedback based in personal experience under foreign you will see feedback on any pharm you are looking for...
I think from what I have read is that e-meds is a great company, very honest, sometimes a little slow but reliable...
Hope this helps...Poco

My first time w/Emeds direct was to order a single bottle of 100 fiorinal (butalital, caffeine, aspirin) for $55.00 + S+H. It took more than month and I had all but given up when the package arrived. It was exactly what I had ordered, but I found the apsirin too caustic for my stomach. Several months went by and I ordered 90 1mg Xanax (genuine Upjohn) and a bottle of 100 fioricet, this time with butalbital, caffeine and acetominapohen. This worked much better w/ no stomach problems. Total order price was about $182.00. Amazingly, this order arrived exactly 18 days from the order's placement. Now, however, I'm waiting on an order for 90 10mg valiums (which should be genuine Roche 10mg V's). It has been 32 days and I'm getting worried that the order has been seized.
The only drawback is there is no way to track orders after they are shipped, From what I undertand they can take as long as 4 to 6 weeks to deliver, but the quality of the meds is first-rate.
If you're not in a big hurry, and quality is important, then emeds in the way to go. Just my 2 cents.

Marci, welcome to DB, as a newcomer you will learn the ropes as you go. And as poco pointed out there are threads on emedsDirect both here on the freeboards and on the VIP.boards. Lots of feedback from board members. Before starting a new thread to ask a question like this, you should check out the current threads. Duplicate threads end up putting the information in too many different places, and eventually the mods WILL delete duplicate threads (meaning probably this one!)
Good luck. Emeds is an excellent, reliable operation. But don't just take my word for it, READ THE THREADS!

I ordered one med on 3/28. By late April, I was getting pretty pissed. I e-mailed several time and only got general, uninformative responses. Then, out of the blue, last night, I got a UPS tracking number via e-mail. I went to the UPS site and it showed the package is out for delivery to my house today. If I actually get the package, that will be 36 days in transit. Do you want to wait that long? Their prices are pretty good, but the quality of their meds is first-rate. If you order Xanax, you get genuine Upjohn Xanax; if you order Valium, you get genuine Roche Valium. Not sure about the other drugs, but the same probably holds true. I've ordered their fiorinal/fioricet and it was exactly what I ordered. The wait is what kills you.

Ordered 90 Xanax (generic) and 90 Valium from EmedsDirect on July 21st, received good product/packaging on October 7th. Took 2 and 1/2 months to get, but it finally made it. Will order from someone else next time hoping for faster shipping. Any recommendations appreciated.

Usesd them twice awhle ago, Received great product each time. Took about a month for each delivery to arrive from purchase date. But in my experience that is about what everyone takes.

WOW! Fortunately that is only about how long e-medsdirect takes! Other IOP's with a similar product list and prices, like healthylifemeds and mexrx, deliver faster. Boy those guys at e-meds sure are slow. But dependable. I don't use them as often as I used to, but for long-running reliablility they deserve some kind of prize.
IOP's come and go, but emedsdirect seems to always be there, delivering at a snails pace, but delivering!

Addendum to Pboy's list, in order of my experience of their reliability:
interpharm.cc (2 weeks MAX except during March 2003)
farmakos
AMM (comes and goes, but currently appears to be coming)

Emeds Direct is supposedly under new management..but nothing has improved! If anything, it's worse, because now they have some very snotty people replying to the inquiry emails! I placed an order on 11/30/03, and despite their promise to ship all orders within fourteen working days (which is a crappy turnaround time anyway) I have yet to see even a tracking number. I have repeatedly asked for them to cancel the order and refund my money, then this snotty employee (Tyler) has the GALL to tell ME that I will never be allowed to place an order again!!! (As if I'm the bad customer for demanding either a) The order; or b) My money back!!!). I ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY RECOMMEND THAT YOU AVOID EMEDS DIRECT! THEY HAVE GONE FROM SLOW TO JUST PLAIN CROOKS!!!

You don't have to tolerate that kind of cs treatment. They are at fault here - not you. Just do a chargeback and be done with it. Make sure you email them to tell them that you did it because of the cs attitude. It's a real hassle for the sites when chargebacks happen - totally screws up their accounting. Let them know it was THEIR FAULT!
Good luck!

THANK YOU for your support!!! They've REALLY been rotten!! What a disappointment - they used to be slow, but reliable, and PLEASANT! These people are BEGGING to be put out of business!! (Shouldn't be long, at the rate they're going..) I'm interested to know how many other people are having a similar experience with them!

I had my CC company initiate a chargeback on this OP today. They were willing to do it even though 123 days had passed since the date of the order. This is because I had verification that E-meds had promised the order on several dates, the last being less than 60 days ago. I don't believe a chargeback carries any guarantee that one's funds will be recovered but it does make a statement. I felt it was in order in this case. I'd still like to find an OP that is currently known to be reliable and inexpensive.

Not saying that I know where all the companies are located for those of you who experience slow deliveries, BUT
ya know, not sure how many people on this board live in 3rd world / still developing countries and similar, but I DO (originally from UK) and there is just a different approach to business from IOP's in, for example, Thailand, India, Mexico - it's so darned hot 24/7 365, we often dont have enough water/rain, no a/c etc, and so life GOES S-L-O-W-E-R.
Also they may well get the packages to the PO the same day or the next, but it can sit there for WEEKS. No kidding, that's just sometimes the mentality.
I ordered from Destiny-Rx and got my meds in 8 weeks, but that is most likely that they arrived in my country in 3-4 weeks and the package just sat there until customs woke up from their nap... but I didn't complain because I GOT THE MEDS and will order again 8 weeks before I run out
No disrespect meant to above mentioned countries AT ALL, I'm not even going to name the country I live in now - but to get a parcel to another island just 100 miles away, after paying EXPRESS, it still took 2 WEEKS, and there are 3 FLIGHTS A DAY to the island I was sending the parcel to...
So just think on... not every country has the resources and mind-set of the USA or the EU... and order before you run out !

I also received a full refund through chargeback. This was done by my CC company, not volunteered by Emeds.

Ah, my refund came via chargeback as well - didn't want to be misleading about that! Emeds mostly ignored my requests for refunds - although "Tyler" promised a refund at one point, but it never materialized - SHOCKING!

I'm just curious to know if anyone's gotten an order from Emeds Direct in January 2004? They still have the nerve to send me emails periodically that the order will be mailed within 48 hours (haha). I'm not worried b/c I've already gotten my chargeback from my cc company, just curious why they keep teasing me with these emails...

I know, it seems so pointless. Last week I got one from Tyler saying that my order had been shipped. This after weeks of refusing to answer any of my emails and my giving up on e-meds.
Why bother lying anymore...unless they enjoy it.

I have been sending polite e-mails regularly and they are not even being answered. I was a long-time client of e-meds and had never had a problem until the end of the year snafu when they claimed their management was changing. E-meds claims they are now using a mexican pharmacy. I have documentation my account being charged, but no luck. I hate the thought of being take advantage of by these characters. I have told Tyler that it is only right they either refund me my $137 or fill my order. It is inconceivable to me that having been a loyal customer and obvious proof that monies were sent and no order was received that they would do the right thing and either refund or fill order. But, I guess I'm naive.

I had placed an order placed on 10/15/2003, waiting until 11/15/2003 to send and e-mail asking where my order was and was told about the whole switching pharmacies thing and that it would be sent out soon. Sent another e-mail on 12/15/2003 telling them I had not received the order yet. Got an e-mail from them on 1/15/2004 saying I would get a refund (paid by paypal)....checked my e-mail yesterday and lo and behold i had an email from paypal with my refund from e-meds So I was 1 for 2 with these guys. Will never use them again....

I sent the following nasty-gram to EMeds Direct today:
Hi, it's well-known now that you are taking orders and NOT DELIVERING ANYTHING, hasn't anyone reported this to your web-hosting service yet? Fraud, fraud, FRAUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think I'll forward all of the hundreds of messages I got from you guys saying my order was on its way...Hmmm..GUESS WHAT??? IT STILL HAS NEVER ARRIVED!!!!!!
Shall I contact their web-hosting service now?

You indicated in your prior post that you did a chargeback last month. Did they re-charge you? I was just curious why this was still ongoing?
Personally, I would never suggest contacting the hosting company or anyone else to claim fraud with an IOP. That type of thing could end up incriminating you in the process.
It's probably best just to leave it, and move on.
