Is it possible-legal-whatever for a FLA. op. to call your personal out-of state-doc and tell him/her that you've been getting, say, Lortab 7.5 from an online pharmacy. If that were the case, my doctor would be really pissed off. Just wondrin'.

Yep,evidently it is,depending on the OP you are speaking of.I believe though they ask is it ok to contact your primary physician and if you answer yes they can.I sort of took a long shot yesterday ordering from an OP i had not heard of and lo and behold I think they did contact my Dr.In my case I really do not care but I guess alot of people would mind if they did.I would just be careful if you run across one that asks that because they might.PS the one I placed with was fastestrx.com and later found that they can and will call your primary Dr. Peace & Happy Valentines Day!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, fastestrx does call. Bogus name, address and known-dead phone number takes care of that problem though.

My mom tried to order some diet pills about a month ago from an op, forgot which one, and she had me to call them and see what was taking so long..the lady said they were waiting to get a call back from her doctor before they could fill it. I couldn't believe it. Why would she use an OP if she had a doctor she could get it from?? I will find out which one it is, but they definitely called her doc. Needless to say, I cancelled her order for her. They refunded her consult fee, no problems.

I did something similar acid. When I faxed my MRI I partially whited out the MD information. The OP I used didn't have that clause about contacting your private doctor. I have seen some sites that do. As soon as I get to anything on an OP's questionaire that I think might lead back to my doctor I quit the request and go to another OP. I'm still with the one I used before all the hassle started. Don't know what I'll do when my last refill comes. turcica
