I swear I'm not losing my mind but...not only can I not find posts I know were on here but when I send someone a PM and later I check my "home" there is no evidence a PM was ever sent sometimes. Do they get deleted after a certain amt. of time. I know I sent one yesterday but it doesn't show up. Please some one tell me I'm not losing my mind! I realize I'm still rather new here and still learning something new everyday about this place but just when I think I have something figured out it changes!

With PM's, you MUST check the box that says "I want to keep a copy of my message". If you don't check it, you will not have a copy in your "sent" folder. it's as simple as that.
Posts get deleted for a lot of reasons, usually for being off topic or in the worng forum. So be super careful that your posts are in the right place, and discussing the right things. DB is a lot stricter about this than many other message boards.
Also, posts are often not deleted but MOVED to the proper forum, without the mods necessarily telling you that.

I guess that faulty link is just more evidence of posts being moved/deleted
Jamming, I've seen several posts disappear (they may have been moved, but I couldn't find a note of it). Some of them were posts which were not controversial/flames or off-topic. I've never had my PM's run off, though.
