I just wanted to know what type of medical records I need to send to Norco WorldWide for my first prescription of Norco 10mg #120 ?
I need this info for a friend that is without any insurance and has just now came across a serious pain problem in his neck. He has been to a dr. and has a MRI and some records, but as all knows, a regular dr. will not prescribe any "good" pain meds.
What records does NWW need ?
Thanks in advance for any help !

I would have your friend fax over the results of the MRI and all othr records the Dr. has, that is definately sufficient.
They will consult your friend and send out his first round or meds before he faxes his records, BUT, NWW is a complete law abiding telemedicine company and your friend HAS TO FAX HIS MEDICAL RECORDS BEFORE HE CAN RECEIVE HIS FIRST REFILL.
Hope this helps-

Hi there,
Summer is correct, but also you need to discuss the 120ct at consult, to be sure that this plan is correct for you. Not discuss with me; That is your confidential information, to go over at time of consult.
If you need anything, please ask away. I am always available.

Yes Pat,
If during consult, med requires more, they will let you know.

That's a joke right ,Summer? If they were a law abiding telemedicine company , the medical records would be reviewed by their physician BEFORE he sent out ANY meds. Before refill, after refill ...whatever.
If the doc isn't looking at decent appropriate records and speaking to his patient it isn't following guidelines. You mistake convenience for ethics.
Be serious. You know better right?

If you have nothing positive or constructive to say about NWW, GET OUT of this thread.
You are not wanted here. We follow the rules. You interpret them as you may. Be gone.

Hertz50,
You should shore up on your knowledge of Florida State law. Summer is 100% correct.

I believe I have read on the board before that a doctor can dispense one emergency prescription before requiring records. When you think about it, isn't that what they do when you go to a hospital emergency room? They are dispensing you medication based on your word, and asking you to see your doctor for further treatment.
Since I did not have an emergency need, I did send NWW my records before my first consult, but some people may not have them available yet for one reason or another.

I know I have been to the ER or have gone to see a doctor and complained of pain, that really could not be seen on a visual exam, and I was given a script for pain meds. Sure the ER told me to follow up with my regular doc, and sure the doctor sent me for tests but the point is you usually get medication dispensed before all that.

I agree with Keystone. NWW has bent over backward to help EVERY person on this forum. PERIOD....They have become personal friends here, So you should be very careful what you say.
It's not that you are to be censored, the truth should never be sensorsed......So go learn some truth!

...and I appreciate that; but I do need the negative, so I can change things.
We put a suggestions/rant link on the front page of the site, and I am getting some great ideas. I can't remember whose idea it was, but it has been filling up with great ideas for us.

I have to agree with the prior statements. NWW does a great job! It was my first experience with them and I was very happy with the care/concern I received.
Also, Thank you Chris!
I had asked if I could scan/copy medical records instead of faxing and Chris pointed out (which silly me I hadn't thought about) that attachments aren't necessarily secure.
That was a great point and I appreciated the "extra" care given.
I am new to this site and to this whole process but with help from Chris and NWW, my concerns were lessoned and the meds arrived exactly when I was told they would.
Suggestions or constructive criticism is always needed to better services, but I think there is a way to convey your feelings/concerns without being blatently rude about it!

Keystone you need to back off. Everyone is entitled to their opinion even if you dont like it. Why would you tell someone to leave the board? Simply because you disagree with what they said?

I have never received anything but respect and great service from NWW. I faxed my records and followed the rules. I think their staff is very prompt and courteous.

Keystone is a good guy, always trying to help people & give advice. The only reason why he got aggressive is because Hertz50 didn't know what he was talking about, and if Big Brother is on the board, what Hertz posted just doesn't look good. I mean, honestly, why is Hertz on here anyways? To bad-mouth OPS? Aren't we all here to get RELIEF? So why would he just blurt something out like that about NWW? They abide by the law, and so do we when we order our meds. Nothing wrong with being pain-free, folks.
B
P.S. Yes, you are entitled to your own opinion, but when that opinion is only going to hurt our cause (to stay pain-free), then I have Keystone's back 100 and 10%. That stuff just isn't needed on the board.

Hi Chris,
When I fax my records over, how will I know when they have been received by NWW? I would like to try and fax them over today if I receive them on time. Please advise...
Thx
