Dalmane is what I call the zombie drug. You take it, you feel like a zombie for about 2 days. It's a major struggle to get out of bed after the first night. But yes, it works great putting you to sleep. The next 24-48 hours it makes me feel like a zombie, not alert and like in slow motion. Usually works well getting to sleep the next night too.
But maybe that's just how it effects me.
I've tried ambien, half dosage of dalmane and Temazepam and they did nothing. Tried a few other samples but they did nothing also (forget the names).
Tylonel pm works sometimes, along with 3mcg of melotonin. But if taken more than twice in a row, they lose what little effectiveness they have.
But we're each different and it may take you trying various medications to see what works best for you.
In fact, I tried various dosages of melatonin and found that the smallest dosage works the best. If I take more, it does nothing. But even the dosage that does work, does so rarely.

hi i been on dalmane for like 10 years recenttly stopped taking it casue it was not helping me at all anymore, and furthermore it gives you a disgusting taste in your mouth and yeah the hangover feeling is awful. but that was in the beginning when it worked, now i take it and nothing. so i tried ambien but i get a "high" feeling and act stupid so i am still looking for something that works, amazingly enough i have good luck with tylenol pm sometimes.
Dalamane is actually flurazempam.
Why don't you try zopiclone, it is
milder than ambien and pharma24.cc
sells is it. It costs about
$65 for 90 including their $25 shipping
charge. Tylenol pm just has benedryl
in it which is an antihistime which
makes you drowsy.
