Hey
Is this more of a pharmacy probelm maybe? Just asking. I will be one that will attest to the trouble that chris has gone through to help me out. I have yet to have anyone bother with "me" personally as he did. This includes more than just the OP world. He went above and beyond what he had to do to help me out. I have been around for a while, don't post much anymore, but geez, never had service like this before. If I happen to get overcharged for something, as far as I am concerned I reckon I will take the loss as we are not ordering from Martha Stuart Or the Baby of the Month Club here. They have what we need and the fact that we do not have to jump through hoops or be humiliated is pretty well worth it to me. They provide a service and are in this to make money as they should be. That is the name of the game here.
I do not mean to sound as though I am being bithchy but you really have to look at the whole picture.
Chris went out of his way and he didn't have to do that, I am sure he has plenty of other clients, but he did go out of his way. I guess maybe I am not use to being treated as though I am actually "someone" In a perfect world.....things would be perfect. But alas.... not a perfect world. If it costs me a few extra bucks once in while for a mistake, I will pay it.

Spoke with Chris on Thursday (5th) and asked him to manually place my refill due on Friday (6th) as it wasn't showing any refill information on the website. Chris took care of it and my medication was filled today (6th) and shipped with a working tracking number this evening. Lets just hope that FedEx does everything right!

Yes! I placed an order for my last refill last night after nidnight. This morning I had an "order filled" confirmation with a tracking number. As of 6:00 tonight the number is active. My fedex guy will probably bring it by tomorrow. He and I are good friends.
Looking forward to my next consult. Hopefully, I can get the new #120 count and feel free to do more activities without worrying about using up my meds. Also, I like talking with the doc. He sure knows his Osteoarthritis!
Chris is great with the customers and handles a problem right away. Demonstrates great character. As a matter of fact, his great service has helped me in my daily affairs. I try to immulate him and thus far have had great respone. Hope he doesn't charge me extra for the Procrastination treatment!

Chevygal,
There is no reason for you to accept an overcharge, just because you got the CS you deserve. I'm sure Chris woiuld agree.

I think I said that to her in a PM; didn't I Chevy? You should expect excellence. No one should have to pay more, to be treated well.
Thanks for your post Zoe.

I will be curious to see how many people do get the 120 count. I recommended NWW to a friend of mine here on the board, she said the PA would not give her the 120 count and was kind of snippy.......that worries me. I switched from NWW to another OP just to get the 120 count and I now want to come back to NWW, but I really need the 120 and would be disappointed if I wasted a consult and then only got 90.....
Oh, I and I agree Chevygal - you shouldn't accept mistakes and NWW doesn't want you to. I appreciate all the work Chris has done on this board and will give them a shot, will let you all know how it goes.

Sky,
Please ask your feind to be in touch with me so I can apologize, if she/he felt that our PA was snippy. They are working very hard, but I do believe an apology is in order.
Thank you,

I'm looking at getting satellite because even I'm noticing how slow things are here. Got too much work going on to sit about waiting for e-mail to download.

I just had my first experience with NWW and it was great. Got the meds I neeeded in two days. But I never did think to ask how to get the prescription refilled at the end of the month. What is the normal procedure for requesting a refill when the time comes? I appologize if this question has been asked and answered already. There seem to be so many helpfull posts on this thread that I figured someone would know offhand. TIA.

Hi there,
You should get a refill reminder via e-mail. Just go to the site, and you will be prompted as to what you need to do.
If you need any help, just PM me and I will walk you through the procedure.

I too, am wanting to try NWW now, but am also worried about being able to get the 120 count. Why are people having so much trouble getting it? Also, if you consult and the doc won't give you the 120, can you cancel, like if he didn't give you the med you wanted with the 25 fee or whatever it is? I would probably still use them anyway, I'm not thrilled with my current OP, but I might get a little upset if I couldn't get the #120 and others are, maybe we could get a little more info on why people aren't getting that amount and what you need to get it? Don't you not have to send in your medical records until the first refill, so it can't have anything to do with that, cause the doc wouldn't even know what kind of records you have yet, or do you need the records first to be able to get the #120? Sorry this is so long, I just think this really needs to be cleared up!

The Dr. I spoke with said if you are a returning customer, meaning 2nd, 3rd consult then the 120 would be prescribed , no problem. If its your first consult and the records have not been sent in before the consult and reviewed by the Dr. then , they do not feel the 120 should be given out. I guess they need to be careful as to whom they are prescribing such a large amount for. It does make sense that not everyone is going to get that amount. I really feel that this should be discussed over the phone at time of consult as it is their discretion as to what to prescribe to you.

Hi Meow,
Being that we are in our first leg of the 120ct; I am still asking questions also. It has been explained to me that when you talk to the practitioner about your personal treatment plan, he/she will advise on the ct. I am not legally allowed to be involved with your medical treatment plan. Many of our clients are scripted on the 120ct, but it is legally difficult for me to be exact in answering on what the criteria is to obtain that ct.
Of course if you feel more comfortable in cancelling, than you may do so. I want your business with us to be a positive experience. Please feel free to PM me, and I will be happy to do whatever I can to ensure satisfaction.

Hello Folks
I ordered a refill (from NWW, 90 10/350 Watson)on 2/5/04 at about 8AM. Ordered fedex overnite priority. I received the meds at 430PM on 2/6/04 as promised.
I've been doing business with NWW for 6 months. They are batting 1000--PERFECT SCORE. I will continue to do business with them.

Just wanted to say how impressed I have been with NWW lately. There was a screw up with my refill a few days ago. I pm'd Chris who was out that day. Then I called CS and got great CS! Then Barbara called me personally to make sure everything was cleared up. And because the delay was NWW (or pharmacys) fault my meds were shipped priority overnight.!! Thanks NWW And Chris for your great service.
Chris, could you pm me on how I can get the 120 count? I have had 2 consults with NWW.
THANKS!!!!!

I recently had my second consult and was offered the 120 ct.Unfortuantly i am not in a good financial situation at the moment so had to order the 90 instead but i didnt get the impression that scripting the 120 would be a problem as long as your records and condition indicate that 120 would be appropriate for you.

JOJOM, meowsie,
Regarding the new #120 count for pain meds., I have heard from several people on this board that they have received it on their first consult. In talking to them, I learned that it was because the doctor consulting them agreed that their various pain conditions warranted this level of medication as part of their treatment programs. Therefore, I can attest to the fact that NWW does not have a "blanket rule" saying you cannot get #120 count on pain meds on your first consult.
Since the doctors often don't have your med. records prior to your first consult, I suggest you do the following to make sure the meds prescribed are suitable for your medical condition:
1. HONESTLY describe the pain condition you suffer in the on-line consult form box and make sure to note if it is a chronic & severe pain condition and give concise details on the level of pain and frequency.
2. Detail your current pain medication treatment plan in the online consult form, including the dose & frequency of pain meds you may currently be taking, if any. (E.g. "you are currently taking 4-5 norco 10/325's daily from another OP you are leaving due to pharmacy and shipping problems" instead of "Norco 10/325")
The information you put on the on-line consulting form combined with your discussion on the phone will give the doctor the fullest amount of information about the appropriate level of meds to prescribe for your pain condition. Be HONEST, DETAILED and CONCISE.
Of course, if the doctor thinks your pain condition and current treatment plan doesn't warrant a #120 count, I believe they shouldn't (and won't) prescribe it. I also believe (based on a few PMs from friends) that NWW doesn't have any blanket rules in place about not prescribing #120 count on pain meds on the first consult.
I know it is difficult for Chris to answer questions about med treatment plans (even in general) since it likely crosses some boundaries between him as CEO and the Doctors that he cannot or does not want to cross for very good reasons.
I hope this helps and you do not rely on someone else's experience in only getting a quantity of #90 pain meds on their first consult and assume you will get the same. Everyone is handled on a case by case basis from what I have seen. Chris: please feel free to correct me if I have mistated anything.

Hi All~
I was just reading all of the posts and figured I would chime in. I had my first consult which was scheduled for the very next day. I spoke with the doc and my meds were prescribed and arrived via Fed Ex the next day.
(120 count 10/325)
The doctor was very courteous and allowed me to voice my concerns about the Vicodin ES, which I felt contained too much acetaminphen to be taking on a regular basis. With that in mind, she prescibed the Norco 10.
I PM Chris with a couple of questions because I am new to the whole process, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised that he took the time to look up and then confirm my consult time.
I would certainly recommend NWW to everyone who suffers with chronic pain.
Twincerely yours~

My prescription that just came yesterday was filled through St.Peter's Apothecary.
Have you or anyone else ever had the Norco 10/325 (Able)
I just took the first one and it seems to have a much different feeling. I was on Vicodin ES 7.5/750 before receiving these. I am noticing a jittery feeling that I hadn't experienced before.

Has anyone else had problems ordering their refills online lately? My co-worker's refill is due today. However, there is not the usual link there for him to submit his refill request.
Is there something wrong with the site?
Chris, I have PM'd you regarding this as well.
Thank you,

Ember,
This was addressed on one of the many other NWW threads. It is hard to keep up with them all, huh? There is to be another pharmacy and I believe starting next week they will be filling prescriptions. St. Peter's is to be a "back up" although if you want to keep St. Pete's there is not a problem with that. I think the name of the pharmacy may be Universal. If this information is incorrect I am sure that NWW/Chris will let us know!
