Polymyalgia Rheumatica

My grandma was just diagnosed with this. I got info from WebMd and Medline, but I was wondering if any of you had some suggestions for treatment/relief. Her doctor prescribed Bextra (today is the first day she has taken it) so I am not sure how she is responding to it. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to PM me if needed. Thanks!

I work at a vitamin store and I have a customer that has polymyalgia rheumatica. She takes her prescription, which is some kind of steroid, I don't know what it is but from my store she gets DHEA, Essential fatty acids and MSM. These are natural remedies but I don't think there are a whole lot of options. She seems to think they help! But who knows.

Elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate. Painful joints. Progressively gets worse. More common in later years.
