Hello All. Just a quick update on my hydro holiday. I am still going strong. I went to see a new endocrinologist on Wednesday who did give me one script for Ultram and one script for Hydro 10/500 but suggested that I get these from my TP from now on. But, since I've been ordering from the OPs and my TP won't give me anything anyway, I'll be saving these scripts for my emergencies. My hydro holiday has been going fine so far with the Ultram/Hydros I have left. I did have to take a few hydro's here and there but no where NEAR the amount I was taking before and definitely not daily. I did go through the depression, but have to admit I was feeling much better this weekend except for yesterday. I woke up with terrible nausea and diarrhea. Thank goodness for the Imodium. I'm not sure if this was from a 'bug' or the hydro. I'm assuming some bug b/c I'm going on a few weeks of my hydro holiday and wouldn't think the w/d symptoms would still be lurking this long. Anyways, I am feeling much better today and will continue the Imodium today just in case. I can't tell you how much better I feel being off the hydro now that the w/d symptoms have passed. I just HOPE the Ultram continues to work for my pain! The new doctor is trying some new treatments that I hope will keep my pain at bay and I'll never have to depend on hydro again. For some reason, I'm starting to have cravings for the hydro during stressful times at work and home. I dont know if this is normal or not. But, that is my update. How is everyone else doing?

Hey! Glad to hear it's going well for you! I wish I was doing as good. Pain kicks in, and that combined with sleepnessness is too much. Just a little frustrated, that's all, don't mind my b****ing. Take care!

I can't say I am doing well at all. The holiday is coming soon and I am dreading it. So glad you are doing so well Hottie, keep up the good work and I am calling my PCP in the morning for a Ultram script cause I am going to need it!

Just writing to find out how you are doing after all this time? I blew my holiday and was back on the Hydro, but now am off again, not doing too bad but it's going to take some time. I can't do this cold turkey thing, I need to taper off but ran out of Hyrdro earlier this week. I posted aboout my visit w/PCP and requesting to see a PM doc. Will see how that goes, I am just asking how you are doing after getting off the Hydro and/or if you are still off of it and if so, what meds are you taking to relieve your pain?

Hi,
I'd like to bring this thread back up because I have a question regarding the green tea during the hydro holiday.
I bought some to drink and it gagged me bad.
I noticed there is a vitamin/supplement called Green Tea Extract Supplement.
Does this basically provide the same results as drinking liquid green tea?
