Madison Pain Clinic- Anyone used them lately?
      #123505 - 12/17/03 03:27 PM

I'm due for a new consult, and I'm at the point where 3-4 a day 10/325's is not enough. I would like to try Madison's program. Is anyone using them? How is the quality of their compounded meds? Is their pharmacy reliable? What's the consult like? I know they require a physical exam- has anyone done that at a clinic as opposed to a port-a-medic?

Thanks, PM if you want.

i have used them for about 2 years. I would say i have a love/hate relationship with them. Their customer service, while not near as good as norco, is getting better. They have only sent me one late refill.

the compounded meds are really what does it for me. I take about 80mg of hydro, and with apap that would be wrecking me.

but on the downside, they are expensive and very strict (if you are caught using another pharm, you are out), and they require a good amount of records.

if you want to start up with them, make sure you have some meds handy, because it may take a while for them to get back with you.

I'm new to this board, I think this is my second post. I'm currently using Madison and will gladly answer any questions regarding my experiences. Everything stated on their website is accurate and I'm very pleased with them. Likely I'll search for a different OP as the $$$ spent is a bit much. In the meantime, I do like to low tylenol amounts in the compounded meds.

I had some negative experiences with other OPs that went away suddenly and was searching for a place that looked reliable.

Feel free to PM with questions.

I once used madison but their prices drove me away. It was about $2.20 cents per pill and on those months when I wanted less than what was prescribed, it was NOT POSSIBLE.

What I did not like about them was that they had their hands in everything. I feel like they would nickel and dime you for just about everything.

Yawkaw,

If you want to go that route, use Dr. Watson. She only will see you as a patient, then the let you select from several pharms and YOU WON'T BE charged out the YING YANG if you get my drift.

A much better deal.

good luck.
