Has anyone out there had any meds sent to Australia??
How stringent is customs?
Had amything witheld???
Do you just recieve a love letter or is there legal ramifications?
Any help greatly appreciated??

PS There must be a few aussies who use this great forum!!!!, Talk to me!...... Let's share what info we have!!

I'm an aussie, you can have anything sent to australia that is not on these two lists:

http://www.health.gov.au/tga/docs/html/bringmed/apendixb.htm

if the meds are on them lists it wont be allowed in.

Trex mate I pm'd you. For any other Aussies reading the board dont listen to the doom sayers the situation here is much like the USA. It is illegal. It's done often. Customs do not have the resources to bother with every small shipment of pharmaceuticals that get sent in. Most are opened, checked & sent on unmolested. I have 18 months of importing to base that on!
